Oval Invincibles captain Suzie Bates on Sky Sports: "It was a good wicket today and once they got in it was hard to defend. We didn't quiet execute towards the end but the way Sophia Smale bowled was great and the run out by Paige Scholfield changed the game. We didn't quite get over the line against Southern Brave last time out so I'm glad we got there today.

"The way we went about it with the bat, we just kept going hard and we probably didn't do that earlier in the season and we were short. That is the style that Invincibles want to play. Every team is getting stronger and showing great depth."

  2. 'Great to finish with a win'published at 17:54 British Summer Time 21 August 2023

Match Hero Nadine de Klerk: "It was a great pleasure playing at The Oval. We've not had the tournament we hoped for but it is great to finish it off with a win in front of our home crowd.

"It was a pretty good wicket in the end. It was tough against spin early on the Rockets made it look easy. Coming up against Lizelle [Lee] is never easy and it was a really good game of cricket and really entrained the crowd today.

"Me and Cordeila [Griffith] just tried to keep it simple and it came off today. The team have been great with me, it's been a short time in England but I get to play alongside some legends from South Africa and it has been great to be a part of it"
