There is still so much to play for in the men's competition.

Invincibles know they are through but can seal a final spot with a win tonight.

For Rockets, they are one of three teams on seven points so it's a lot closer in the middle of the table. They're not out of it if they lose, but a win gives their hopes a real boost.

    Breaking

Luke Wood and Matt Carter scramble a single a a two from the final two deliveries to lift Rockets up to 148-7, meaning Invincibles need 149 to win.

I think both teams will be reasonably satisfied with that. It feels a touch below par but Rockets will probably be happy given their poor start.

  7. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 98 balls

    Sams c Muyeye b T Curran 19 (Rockets (145-7)

    Sams goes this time though!

It is slightly straighter from Tom Curran and without that width Sams cannot quite get the power on his shot, with Tawanda Muyeye taking the catch on the mid-wicket boundary.

  8. 6 runs

    Rockets 145-6published at 97 balls

Daniel Sams is at it again, he has heaved the ball over the off side for another six!

It is up to Daniel Sams and Luke Wood to try and scramble some runs in the final few balls of the innings.

Stand and deliver from Lewis Gregory as he charges Sam Curran and slaps the ball through the off side for four.

    Brilliant, aggressive cricket.

  15. dropped catch

Munro dropped on 34published at 73 balls

This is very tough, but it is technically a drop.

Colin Munro has gloved a short delivery from Gus Atkinson down the leg side and a sprawling Sam Billings cannot hold on despite a sprawling dive to his right.

  16. Rockets 103-4published at 70 balls

Not pretty but effective from Lewis Gregory as he mistimes a drive and ends up skewing the ball one-handed through mid-wicket for four.

The crowd need to watch out again as Colin Munro dispatches the returning Adam Zampa over long-on for another massive six.

Munro looks very satisfied with himself after that and well he might. He middled that perfectly.

Sam Curran is finally into the attack, a little later than normal.

Some athletic fielding from Tawanda Muyeye in the deep denies Lewis Gregory a boundary before a brilliantly executed slower ball from Curran ends a decent set.
