  2. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 10 balls

    Litchfield b Gaur 1 (Superchargers 9-2)

An absolute beauty!! That is unplayable from Mahika Gaur.

Angling in before nipping away to the left-handed Phoebe Litchfield, who plays and misses pushing forward with the ball clipping the top of off stump and removing just one of the bails.

Sensational from the teenager, who is justifying that international call up.

  3. Litchfield dropped on onepublished at 4 balls

Very nearly a sensational catch from Laura Wolvaardt!

It was a lofty drive from Phoebe Litchfield that flew towards point, but Wolvaardt could not hold onto the ball despite diving to her left.

    Kelly c George b Gaur 2 (Superchargers 2-1)

    Yes she can!

Opener Marie Kelly looks to loft the ball into the leg side but doesn't time it and can only pick out Katie George at mid-wicket.

As Sophie Ecclestone alluded to, it has not been the best tournament for Manchester Originals. They have lost their last three matches and are already eliminated.

Superchargers in contrast are already through to the knockouts and have won five of their six matches. They can go level on points with leaders Southern Brave with a win today.

Originals captain Sophie Ecclestone: "Yeah we would have had a bat first as well. But we have a great bowling unit so hopefully we can do well.

"We have had a few close defeats but then we got battered last time so hopefully we can bounce back today. It's been quite hard but I've really enjoyed the captaincy. It is something I want to do more when I'm older. Hopefully we can bounce back with two wins to finish."

Superchargers captain Hollie Armitage: "It looks like a good wicket so hopefully we can put on a good total. We've got a good energy around the group but we have to take each game as it comes and we want to finish top of the table. Hopefully this can be another step on that ladder."
