It's been a steady start.
Finn Allen has bounced back well from that nasty blow to the helmet.
A fourth seamer as Paul Walter comes on for the Originals. Calvin Harrison is the only spin option in the Originals team, with seamer Jamie Overton also yet to bowl.
Conway tries to take two with a push into the leg-side, but changes his mind before setting off for a second. Finn Allen stumbles outside the crease, but is able to make it back as the ball comes into the bowler's end.

It's evenly poised. Southern Brave are in a delicate situation. They can't afford to take up too many more dot balls.
Originals persist with pace up top with Zaman Khan coming into the attack. They've reduced their spin options for this match, dropping Tom Hartley from the line-up.
His slingy action produces a full toss yorker. Allen jams his bat down and runs a single.
That's the end of the powerplay.

Manchester Originals haven't taken a wicket yet but they have contained the Brave batters really well. There have been a lot of plays and misses.
Conway gets his first boundary, lofting Josh Little over the cover fielder ring for four.
Little thinks he's drawn Conway's edge from his final delivery, but captain and wicketkeeper Jos Buttler isn't interested in sending it upstairs.
A loose set from Richard Gleeson, whose first delivery flicks Finn Allen's hip and races away for four leg byes.
He then gets called for a leg-side wide, before another ball seems to deviate on the way past Allen and goes for five wides. Surely that hit some part of the Brave opener? Maybe he has some sort of slipstream.
Allen takes three off the bat with a push into the big leg-side field, 13 off the set.
The rain is back but the sun is still shining. Summer, eh?
Just one single from Little's next three balls.
All sort of stuff going on the sky in London - there's patches of dark cloud, some blue sky and a rainbow that appears to finish in the Oval pavilion.
There was some drizzle during the opening set but it seems to have stopped for now.

A quality shot. You could see Finn Allen had his eye on the slightly shorter boundary and it was the perfect ball for him to make the most of it.
Dispatched!
Josh Little's second delivery sits up for Finn Allen and he fires it fast and flat into the crowd, where it's put down by a spectator.

Finn Allen is a player with no fear. I wouldn't be surprised if we see him play the shot again.
Finn Allen is in the thick of it straight away!
He takes a big swing at Gleeson - it draws a meaty edge which flies for a one-bounce four behind an empty third position.
The New Zealand batter then scuttles across the stumps attempting to ramp but succeeds only in smacking the ball into his helmet grill as he falls over.
Allen is standing up but we'll have a quick check from the medics. Helmet cam seems to have survived as well, but will presumably have to be replaced. Do they have more than one?
We are indeed going to go ahead without any further delay. The groundstaff have swiftly retreated with the plastic sheeting.
Brave's opening combination of New Zealanders Finn Allen and Devon Conway are scratching around in the middle - there's still a haze of smoke from the walk-out cannons.
Richard Gleeson will bowl first for Originals.
Uh-oh.
The central cover is back on at The Oval. However the stands are still cast in sunlight and we're told that if we're delayed it won't be for very long.

They are two very exciting opening partnerships in these teams.
Devon Conway has been sensational, playing a bit more traditionally and allowing Finn Allen to explode.
Manchester Originals may have finished above Southern Brave in the table, but the Southampton side came out on top when these sides met in the group stage, which was as recently as Wednesday.
The Originals batted first on this occasion, with captain Jos Buttler top scoring on 45. But Devon Conway blasted 54 from 40 balls to help Brave to their target with five balls to spare.

Chris Jordan has had a very good tournament and showed us all what he is capable of. He has bowled and fielded brilliantly as he usually does but he has also proved his worth with the bat at times.
There are quite a few changes for Manchester Originals, though. It feels like a significant shift and it'll be interesting to see how it affects them.

Obviously Jos Buttler is the leading run-scorer but I think you want to get Phil Salt first. Because he has had some really quick, explosive starts which has taken the pressure off Jos and allowed him to bat for longer, and build an innings a bit more.
Yes, he has immense ability but Salt is the one who has been crucial in getting them off to flying starts.
All four wins for the Originals this season have come when they've batted first. They've lost just once when setting a total, and twice when they were chasing.
Meanwhile three of Southern Brave's four wins have come batting second... but so have all three of their losses.
