It looked like quite a tired shot from Jos Buttler. You don't normally see him out in the way.

    Target 162

Just two runs and an enormous wicket in that set from Danny Briggs, brilliant from the left-arm spinner.

Jos Buttler maybe expected it to hold in the surface but it just goes on with the arm.

That is huge! Danny Briggs has done it in four balls. Jos Buttler coming down the track but misses it. The Oval Invincibles are celebrating and justifiably so.

    Massive wicket!

Jos Buttler comes charging down the track to Danny Briggs but misses with a big shot aimed leg side.

The ball skids through between bat and pad and knocks back middle stump.

That is a huge moment in this chase.

This is danger time now for Jos Buttler. Once he gets past 10 balls he usually flicks a switch and supercharges his innings to take down the opposition. He has so much experience in the run chase.

A decent start from Manchester Originals. Jos Buttler is just giving himself a little bit of time.

  8. Originals 42-1published at 70 balls left

No wicket but that's a good first five from Nathan Sowter.

Just three from the spinner's set, all in singles.

Here comes Nathan Sowter. Can he get Jos Buttler again?

Jos Buttler has been in blistering form for Manchester Originals but Oval Invincibles might have just the bowler to get rid of him.

Leg-spinner Nathan Sowter has bowled to the England white-ball captain twice in T20s and The Hundred - and dismissed him both times.

Not only that, Buttler has only scored 13 runs from nine balls against Sowter.

    Target 162

Max Holden is the new man in for Originals and is off the mark with a single.

Boundary next ball as it flicks off Jos Buttler's thigh pad and away for four leg byes.

Having taken a bit of time to get himself in while Phil Salt was going, will Buttler now try to kick on?

It's brother to brother. Tom Curran brilliant with the bat and he's got the big breakthrough with the ball.

A huge wicket for the Oval Invincibles. Phil Salt can be such a dangerous player.

    Breakthrough for the Invincibles!

What a day Tom Curran is having! Phil Salt tries to launch him over long-off but mistimes it.

The ball goes a long way up and it's Sam Curran underneath. Well held and that's a big wicket.

Phil Salt is annoyed with himself that he is missing these bread and butter deliveries on his legs. But Gus Atkinson is bowling at some good speeds which makes it difficult.

  16. 6 runs

Originals 33-0published at 80 balls left

    Target 162

Full ball on leg stump and Phil Salt misses out. The extra pace of Gus Atkinson did for him but that's a delivery Salt would expect to put away.

But he doesn't miss the last one! Banged in short and Salt hooks it high into the stands for six!

It wasn't out of the middle but there was more than enough on it to sail over the ropes.

It's still evenly posied. If Invincibles can go bang bang they will be happy with their start, but it does feel like Originals have stopped the momentum that Invincibles had at the end of their innings.

  18. Originals 25-0published at 84 balls left

    Target 162

That's what we've come to expect from Phil Salt.

A tad too straight from Gus Atkinson and Salt lifts it up and mid-on for four.

  19. Originals 21-0published at 85 balls left

    Target 162

Good comeback from Tom Curran after that boundary, just a single from the next three balls and that was a risky one.

A direct hit from Jason Roy and Phil Salt might have been in trouble.

Jos Buttler gets one more from the last, far more comfortable than the previous single.
