Manchester Originals are right in the driving seat. What a start they've had.

  2. Invincibles 22-3published at 25 balls

Sam Billings guides a four past a diving slip but it doesn't really ease much pressure on the Invincibles.

After the 25-ball powerplay, they are in a bit of a pickle.

These two bowlers have got it on a string.

The Originals can do no wrong at the moment.

Josh Little has bowled 10 balls, taken one wicket and conceded just one run!

Sammy Curran has to go for a golden duck. Three huge wickets for the Originals.

That is the perfect start. Absolutely outstanding so far for Manchester.

  7. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 16 balls

    S Curran c Buttler b Little 0 (Invincibles 15-3)

    Two in two balls!

Josh Little's pace does the trick for Sam Curran. There's a bit of extra bounce which draws a prod from Curran's bat and Buttler gratefully accepts the catch behind the stumps.

Big big trouble for the Oval Invincibles now.

Two early wickets for Richard Gleeson...

Paul Stirling is a dangerous customer, they'll be delighted to see the back of him.

    Fantastic start for the Originals.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 15 balls

    Stirling c Walter b Gleeson 5 (Invincibles 15-2)

    Another!

He played a lovely flick for four just two balls previous but Gleeson strikes back.

It's not his best ball - a filthy full toss - but Stirling can only club it straight to Paul Walter at mid-on!

    Delight for the Originals.

    Go fetch that one!

  12. Invincibles 11-1published at 11 balls

And as I say that, Will Jacks makes it look supremely easy with a crunching shot for four over extra cover!

I'd be tempted to give Josh Little another set.

Swing and then some nip off the surface. I don't know how that missed.

  15. Invincibles 6-1published at 10 balls

Brilliant from Josh Little. Just one run from his first five balls, including a few plays and misses.

The pitch didn't look easy for the Brave batters first up in the women's game but after a bit of time, they managed to kick on. That suggest Invincibles will have to be patient early doors.

  16. Invincibles 5-1published at 5 balls

    Glorious from Will Jacks.

A straight drive down the ground for Invincibles' first boundary.

Manchester Originals know what it is like to lose the final here at Lord's. They won't want to have that feeling again.

That's not what you want, you want to get off to a good start and settle the dressing room down.

It's good from Richard Gleeson, just gets that bit of sideways movement and an inside edge from Jason Roy.

  19. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 3 balls

    Roy c Buttler b Gleeson 0 (Invincibles 0-1)

What a start for the Originals!

Jason Roy is beaten for pace as Gleeson gets one to jag back through his defence, take an inside edge and caught behind by Buttler!

A huge wicket and Paul Stirling, playing his first game for the Invincibles straight into the final, is in early under pressure.

Their average of 35 in this phase is also the second-worst for any team.
