Just looking at Mohammed Siraj, he is being led off the pitch and he has got a very nasty bruise on his throat there.

Just looking at Mohammed Siraj, he is being led off the pitch and he has got a very nasty bruise on his throat there.
Scott Edwards tops the Dutch batting averages at this World Cup and that's probably due to his ability to play spin.
He is twice able to work Ravindra Jadeja into the leg side.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Siraj is still off the park after the blow he took to the throat following a dropped catch.
That wicket has prompted the umpires to ask for a bit of liquid refreshment.

For a while, Ravindra Jadeja was seen as a holding bowler, a spinner that could just rattle through his overs and keep the run rate down but in this World Cup he has been a genuine wicket-taker.

This is why it is so difficult to play against India. If you get past Siraj and Bumrah, then you have to get past Shami. And if you get past Shami, you have to deal with Kuldeep and Jadeja.
And they are both so skilful. It has taken Jadeja just one ball to make an impact.
O'Dowd b Jadeja 30 (Ned 72-3)
In truth, Max O'Dowd has looked all at sea against India's spinners.
Left-arm tweaker Ravindra Jadeja, round the wicket, gets one to straighten and the Dutch batter defends down the wrong line.
The ball skips on to hit off stump.

Absolutely. They have been composed, but the run rate has never stalled and they have actually looked quite comfortable.

Is the best performance we have seen by a team against India in this World Cup, in terms of the 15 overs?

A drop! It was hit very high, which is tough at this time of night, but he has dropped it on to his throat and that is sore.
Target 411
The Netherlands did have a left-arm wrist spinner as a net bowler to prepare them for facing the likes of Kuldeep Yadav and Tabraiz Shamsi of South Africa.
But out in the middle it's a different ball game.
Max O'Dowd attempts to biff Kuldeep down the ground but cannot get the distance required on it. Mohammed Siraj, however, drops the catch letting the ball slip through his hands and into his throat.
Mohammed Shami bustles in to the crease but new batter Sybrand Engelbrecht and Max O'Dowd happy to revert to knocking him into the gaps.
Two singles apiece for the Dutch pair.

Max O'Dowd wields his bat like an angry executioner.
A wicket maiden for Kuldeep Yadav. India's spinners will look to turn the screw now.
Here's a lovely hook from Max O'Dowd from a little while ago.

It is a clever bit of bowling. If you are going to sweep, it is risky because Kuldeep is bowling around the wicket and getting some turn back into the right hander.
He is a very canny bowler, very consistent with his length. Another referral lost by the Dutch, that is nine out of 10 reviews that have been unsuccessful in the tournament!

He can turn the ball into the right hander and away. He is a tricky customer.
Ackermann lbw b Kuldeep 35 (Ned 66-2)
As expected.
Colin Ackermann looked jumpy in his first over against Kuldeep Yadav and feeling the pressure to score has bungled a change of approach.
The ball-tracking technology emphasised that was as out as they come.
Daniel Norcross

The umpire was pretty quick to make the decision. I suspect he is in danger.
What was I saying about the Dutch and spin...
Colin Ackermann misses a sweep to Kuldeep Yadav and is given out plumb in front.
He's reviewed it, more in hope than expectation.
Mohammed Shami is a wily and skiful bowler but there's not much in this pitch by way of assistance. He's a lot more disciplined and tighter with his lines in this over rather than searching for magic wicket balls.
Three runs added to the total for the Dutch.
Meanwhile, here's a couple of boundaries hit by Colin Ackermann a little while ago.

Max O'Dowd has done a very good job of weathering the storm. The Dutch have started brilliantly and to be 52-1 after nine overs, they'd certainly bite your arm off for that.
