  • Donegal v Tyrone (19:15 BST)

  1. Armagh not getting it easy at homepublished at 18:53 British Summer Time 25 May

    HT: Armagh 0-7 Westmeath 0-6

We're just a few minutes away from the beginning of the second half in Armagh.

The home side haven't yet been able to pull away from Westmeath, who have scored some superb points in the opening half.

With heavy hitters Derry and Galway also in the group, this game could be of huge importance of terms of who progresses through to the next round.

With players like Oisin O'Neill, Aidan Nugent and Jason Duffy in reserve, one wonders how long it will be before Kieran McGeeney turns to his bench for inspiration?

The 55-year-old was getting ready for a National Football League clash with rivals Derry when he became ill.

It was reported at the time he was dealing with health issues.

Logan has been on a break from management since.

  3. 'No doubt Ulster has taken a toll on Donegal' - Cavanaghpublished at 18:47 British Summer Time 25 May

    Donegal v Tyrone (19:15 BST)

Former Tyrone midfielder Colm Cavanagh believes a "toll" that winning the Ulster title will have taken on Donegal could benefit his native county in their All-Ireland Championship Group 3 opener in Ballybofey on Saturday.

Donegal go into the MacCumhaill Park contest two weeks after needing extra time and penalties to beat Armagh in a dramatic Ulster Final, which came a fortnight after they required extra time to see off Tyrone in the provincial semi-final.

"You have to factor it in ultimately, the Ulster Championship is the hardest one out there," said former All-Star Cavanagh.

"It’s going to have taken its toll physically and mentally on Donegal, it would have been their target initially."

Mackin's Australian Rules club Melbourne Demons revealed news of her injury on Thursday.

The Armagh forward joined her sister and fellow county player Blaithin in the Melbourne squad last year.

Mackin suffered the injury 13 minutes into the second half of the provincial decider at Clones, which Armagh went on to win 0-17 to 1-13 after extra time.
