Well we can finally catch breath after another frantic day of action in the Allianz Leagues.
First up, Waterford cut loose to wallop Antrim hurlers 2-23 to 0-11 in today's BBC streamed offering but while there was no drama at Corrigan Park, it was a very different story as David Clifford's three goals earned Kerry a dramatic 3-13 to 2-13 comeback win over Tyrone in the Division One Football clash at Pomeroy.
Then we had a rather extraordinary Division One football contest at a windswept Salthill when Galway - exemplified by man of the match Shane Walsh - used the elements brilliantly in the first half to lead 0-17 to 0-1 at the interval.
However, Matthew Tierney's red card just before the break gave Donegal a smidgen of hope but while the home side had two further black cards, the visitors could never get closer than the seven-point margin which was the end result as Galway held on to win 0-21 to 0-14.
In Division Two, Down's relegation woes increased as they were edged out 2-17 to 0-22 by Louth in Drogheda while Cavan boosted their hopes of avoiding the drop by coming from 12 points down at half-time to beat Westmeath 1-22 to 0-21 at Mullingar.
In Division Three, a Garvan Jones point earned Fermanagh a 1-13 to 3-6 win over Mickey Harte's Offaly which boosts the Ernemen's hopes of getting into the promotion picture.
Thanks for your company today. We'll back back at it next weekend.
