Louth v Down, Drogheda, 14:30 GMT

Conor Laverty endured his first defeat at home since becoming Down manager last weekend as the Mournemen were edged out 0-24 to 1-18 by Meath.

That defeat ended a 25-month unbeaten home run and it leaves Down now looking over their shoulder as the league reaches the halfway point.Laverty's men travel to Drogheda locked on two points with both Cavan and today's opponents in what could be a huge scrap for survival.

Three of Down's last four games are on the road and they will need to overcome issues with height around the middle if they are to distance themselves from the relegation places.Ger Brennan's Louth looked like they were going to pick up a huge win in Cavan last weekend but for a couple of unfortunate errors from goalkeeper Niall McDonnell that led to goals.

The Wee County lost 2024 All-Star Craig Lennon against Roscommon in week two but do pose a threat with the trusty Sam Mulroy leading the forward line and buccaneering midfielder Tommy Durnin could have a big say on proceedings.

Louth: Niall McDonnell; Daire Nally, Dermot Campbell, Donal McKenny; Conal McKeever, Peter Lynch, Dan Corcoran; Tommy Durnin, Ciaran Byrne; Andy McDonnell, Ciaran Downey, Conor Grimes; Ciaran Keenan, Sam Mulroy, Ryan Burns.

Subs: Tiernan Markey, Anthony Williams, Ciaran Murphy, Emmet Carolan, Val Leddy, Paul Matthews, Kieran McArdle, Sean Reynolds, Leonard Gray, Daire McConnon, Liam Jackson.

Down: Ronan Burns; Peter Fagan, Pierce Laverty, Ceilum Doherty; Ryan Magill, Daniel Guinness, Patrick McCarthy; Caolan Mooney, Ryan McEvoy; Danny Magill, Odhran Murdock, James Guinness; Oisin Savage, Pat Havern, Conor McCrickard.

Subs: John O'Hare, Ruairi McCormack, Eugene Branagan, Miceal Rooney, Shay Miller, Adam Crimmins, Aaron McClements, Conor Francis, Gareth McKibbin, Patrick Brooks, John McGeough.

Darragh Canavan with a right-footed free from a nice distance.

A nice way for him to ease his way into the game.

Frank Burns is yellow carded for a crude challenge on Graham O'Sullivan.

Darren McCurry lands a free after Mattie Donnelly is fouled.

This is a much-improved display from Tyrone after a really poor performance in Castlebar last week.

    HT: Antrim 0-4 Waterford 2-14

Well.....that first half hasn't quite gone to plan for Antrim. They are trailing 2-14 to 0-4 at half-time.

Waterford did play with the wind but that alone can't explain the difference between those two sides.

Oh to be a fly on the wall in that Antrim dressing-room as Davy Fitzgerald delivers his half-time team talk.

Here comes Darragh Canavan for his first minutes as a Tyrone player under Malachy O'Rourke. That draws a huge roar from the home fans.

He replaces Mickey O'Neill after 22 minutes.

That was a really well-worked score by Kerry, finished by Joe O'Connor.

    Conn Kilpatrick!

What a lovely score from outside the arc.

Tyrone have three two-pointers so far.

And Kerry haven't scored in 10 minutes.

Michael McKernan is showing the Tyrone forwards how it's done.

Two long-range pops at the posts has gleaned 0-4 as he sends over his second two-pointer of the afternoon.

Kerry have had most of the possession, but it's a level ball game right now. And better still, Eoin McElholm is back on from the sin bin so Tyrone back up to 15 players.

    Ready for throw-in in Ederney.

    Late changes to both teams.

The returning Sean McNally and Oisin Smyth come straight back into the starting line-up for Fermanagh in place of Ross Bogue and Joe McDade.

Shane O'Toole Greene starts in place of Kyle Higgins for Offaly.

Well, how much did Tyrone need that?

Michael McKernan comes up with a two-pointer, just like he did against Derry in Omagh a few weeks ago.

The breeze is swirling and hard to gauge who it's favouring at times.

    Mattie Donnelly with the pass.

Fermanagh v Offaly, St.Joseph's Park Ederney, 14:00 GMT

A venue change to Ederney sees Fermanagh's game with Offaly go ahead this afternoon.

The Ernemen's sole victory thus far came at the county's second ground against Antrim but after a two-point defeat in Clare last weekend Kieran Donnelly's side sit just above the relegation places.

Their guests meanwhile are flying high at the other end of the table only second to Kildare on score difference.

Offaly, co-managed by Mickey Harte and Declan Kelly have won each of their three games to date and took apart 13-man Antrim, 4-19 to 0-15 last time out.

Dylan Hyland, Jack Bryant and Shane Tierney combined for 1-8 in the full forward line with Nigel Dunne coming off the bench to strike three points. Meanwhile, Keith O'Neill helped himself to 2-2 against the Saffrons.

It's fair to say Donnelly's men will have their hands full but the return to the bench of defender Oisin Smyth and goalkeeper Sean McNally is a boost.

Both teams have initially named unchanged starting XVs.

Fermanagh: Ross Bogue; Lee Cullen, Che Cullen, Fionan O'Brien; Johnny Cassidy, Declan McCusker, Ronan McCaffery; Joe McDade, Darragh McGurn; Shane McGullion, Ryan Lyons, Paul Breen; Josh Largo-Ellis, Garvan Jones, Conor Love.

Subs: Sean McNally, Oisin Murphy, Diarmuid Owens, Conall Quinn, Aaron Jones, Nathan Tierney, Conor McGee, Diarmuid King, Oisin Smyth, Sean Cassidy, Conor Murphy.

Offaly: Paddy Dunican; Lee Pearson, Kyle Higgins, Rory Egan; Aidan Bracken, John Furlong, Cormac Egan; Jack McEvoy, Jordan Hayes; Cillian Bourke, Cathal Flynn, Keith O'Neill; Dylan Hyland, Jack Bryant, Shane Tierney.

Subs: Sean O'Toole, Marcus Dalton, Cathal Donohoe, Nigel Dunne, Diarmuid Finneran, Robbie Gallagher, Shane O'Toole Greene, Aaron Kellaghan, Daire McDaid, Eoin Sawyer, Morgan Tynan.

Westmeath v Cavan, Cusack Park, 14:00 GMT

Following a pitch inspection in Mullingar the game between Westmeath and Raymond Galligan's Cavn goes ahead this afternoon.

The Breffnimen will perhaps be pleased that they have the chance the build on their first victory of the season last weekend as they grabbed two late goals to beat Louth.

A much-needed win for Galligan's team who lie seventh in the standings level with both Louth and Down and just above their opponents today who remain pointless.

Westmeath, managed by Cavan great Dermot McCabe, suffered a third consecutive defeat to Cork last time out losing narrowly 3-18 to 3-17.

The Midlanders won when these teams met in the inaugural Tailteann Cup final in 2022 but Cavan did avenge that loss on their way to promotion to the second tier a year later.

There won't be much between them and Galligan will be aware that although their hosts are not yet on their board they have averaged 24 points a game and have perhaps been unfortunate to this point.

Westmeath: Conor McCormack, Jamie Gonoud, Charlie Drumm, Conor Dillon; Enda Gaffney, Ronan Wallace, Sam McCartan; Jack Geoghegan, Kevin O'Sullivan; Danny McCartan, Brian Cooney, Matthew Whittaker; Lorcan Dolan, Luke Loughlin, Ray Connellan.

Subs: Kieran Martin, Brandon Kelly, Fionn O'Hara, Andrew Kilmartin, Daniel Scahill, Marc Eivers, Joseph Moran, Darragh Lowry, Stephen Smith, David Giles, Adam Keane.

Cavan: Gary O'Rourke; Niall Carolan, Brian O'Connell, Jason McLoughlin; Padraig Faulkner, Ciaran Brady, Luke Fortune; James Smith, Evan Crowe; Gerard Smith, Dara McVeety, Oisin Kiernan; Ryan O'Neill, Gearoid McKiernan, Oisin Brady.

Subs:Liam Brady, Killian Brady, Killian Clarke, Ryan Donohoe, Barry Donnelly, Cian Madden,Thomas Edward Donohoe, Sean McEvoy, Cormac O'Reilly, Conor Madden.
