    Now Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris head in to the pits. Williams' Alex Albon is staying out and leading the race as Oscar Piastri moves up to second.

    With Lando Norris doing an extra lap compared to his team-mate, he's now under pressure from the Mercedes of George Russell, who pitted earlier. The McLaren man is passed by Russell and is now in fourth place.

    Race leader Oscar Piastri is next to change the mediums for the hards. The Australian is done and dusted and rejoins the action in fourth spot. Lando Norris stays out and is now ahead of the pack, with Charles Leclerc, who also hasn't stopped, in second.

    The pit window has been flung open now, and next to come in is Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen. Hard compounds for the pair of multiple world champions - Hamilton comes out in 10th and Verstappen two places lower.

    George Russell reckons a one stop is doable.

    What Charles Leclerc is able to do at the moment is he's building that buffer to Max Verstappen so when he comes in to do that wing change he's got the potential to stay ahead.

    Rookies Kimi Antonelli and Isack Hadjar are into the pits to dump their medium tyres for hards. As Italian Antonelli comes out, however, the Racing Bulls of Yuki Tsunoda, who pitted a lap earlier, overtakes the Mercedes.

    Tsunoda is 13th and Antonelli is 14th.

    Charles Leclerc seems happy with his pace and he's keeping with Lewis Hamilton even with a front wing that is nearly drooping and scraping on the ground.

    He's lost downforce but it doesn't seem to affecting him as much as I thought.

    McLaren have 'C' in the plan alphabet. The letter belongs to race leader Oscar Piastri, who is now two seconds clear of team-mate Lando Norris.

    Yuki Tsunoda at Racing Bulls, the Haas of Esteban Ocon and Jack Doohan at Alpine have all stopped for some hard tyres.

    The Alpine of Pierre Gasly comes in to change the medium tyres over to the hard compound. Ferrari are preparing themselves for a car to come in, but when that will be we don't know.

    Yuki Tsunoda has moved up to eighth place from ninth but the Japanese driver wants to push the front of his Racing Bulls hard. His engineer is dead against it. Keep it things cool, Yuki.

    This track is really hard on that front left tyre so if you've got a car that typically has more understeer because you've lost those points of downforce can make the graining even worse.

    I expect Charles Leclerc to be overusing those front tyres, we might see him being an earlier stop than what he originally thought.

    The replays show Gabriel Bortoleto was also caught up in some drama with the Haas of Oliver Bearman. The Brazilian ended up in the gravel and is now down in 19th place. Briton Bearman is 15th.
