    Fittingly, let's give the final word there to stage winner Warren Barguil. What a tremendous ride.

    Romain Bardet took back four seconds but, with no more mountains and a time trial to come, Chris Froome looks set to keep yellow all the way into Paris.

    He might still have to watch out for Rigoberto Uran but Froome will be a very pleased man tonight.

    Rigoberto Uran actually slipped back in the finale and finished two seconds behind Bardet and Froome.

    The Colombian is now 29 seconds back on Froome, while Bardet - with those bonus seconds - moves to 23 seconds behind.

    So Romain Bardet does take some time on Chris Froome but it's only four seconds.

    The gap is now 23 seconds and, if Saturday's time trial goes to form, that should be enough for the Briton to win his fourth Tour de France title and third in a row.

    Inspired by sewing up the king of the mountains polka dot jersey today, Warren Barguil caps a superb Tour de France with his second stage win.

    With his first, he became the first French rider to win a Tour stage on Bastille Day since 2005.

    With this win, he becomes the first rider to ever win a summit finish on the Col d'Izoard.
