AG2R's Pierre Latour has rolled over the line to secure the white jersey as best young rider at the 2018 Tour de France.
Primoz Roglic was seven seconds up on Chris Froome in the early stages but is now 26 seconds down.
Different strategies? Will be intriguing to see how both tackle that sharp climb in the run-in. Looks like Froome has got this spot on though and could well take back third.
Romain Bardet is through the second time check, 52 seconds down on Ilnur Zakarin, who remains fastest at that point but not for long.
It looks like Geraint Thomas wants to win this stage in emphatic fashion.
The yellow jersey blasts through the first time check 14 seconds faster than Chris Froome.
Tom Dumoulin goes through the first time check two seconds down on Chris Froome.
Chris Froome is belting out a superb TT so far.
Primoz Roglic is 30 seconds down at the first time check and is ceding third place to the four-time winner as it stands.
Perhaps his superb stage win yesterday took a lot out of the Slovenian.
Jeeeez. Geraint Thomas locks up his rear wheel trying to get round a right-hand band and has a bit of a wobble.
He stays upright.
Chris Froome hits the 13km time check in 16:45.
The virtual GC has him above Primoz Roglic into third.
Geraint Thomas looks to be storming this - the virtual GC has his lead up to 2:22 over Tom Dumoulin.
He's made up 17 seconds in this first section so far.
Ilnur Zakarin is absolutely blitzing this time trial.
The Russian storms through the second time check nearly 11 seconds quicker than Bob Jungels.
No danger of Jungels catching him then. Zakarin will now be looking to make sure he moves above Nairo Quintana.
Expect all this to change soon, but here's an idea of the times the GC riders are trying to beat...
Bob Jungels, 11th on GC, rolls through the second time check just over two seconds quicker than current leader Michal Kwiatkowski.
Of course, not long after I type it's not raining, a few spots start to fall.
Will it affect the GC riders out on course?
Primoz Roglic is currently six seconds ahead of Chris Froome on schedule.
Froome needs 13 seconds to overhaul the Slovenian - a tough ask, given Roglic's ability against the clock.
Romain Bardet has started well, coming through the first time check 29 seconds down on Ilnur Zakarin.

It's pretty tight and it's not a done deal, particularly if you take into consideration that Thomas could lose 50% of his advantage to Dumoulin, which takes him down to a minute and then he gets a puncture which could cost him another 30 seconds.
Geraint Thomas may be wearing all yellow but his bike is decked out in red, white and blue to indicate he is the British national time trial champion.
Given it's not raining, could he even try to push it and contend for the stage win to cap off a Tour victory?
Nairo Quintana has come through the first time check 1:23 down on Ilnur Zakarin, which is exactly the gap between them before the stage.
The Colombian could be losing ninth place here.
Ilnur Zakarin is putting in a heck of a ride so far. The Russia has blasted through the first time check eight seconds faster than Adam Yates' previous best mark.
But as Yates showed, those that start fast can fade in the next two sectors.

On paper Geraint Thomas will probably lose 50% of his lead, but all things being equal he should keep his yellow jersey. However, we are three weeks into a Grand Tour.
Tom Dumoulin is the time trial world champion but he will not be at the best of his ability at this stage of the race.
