Primoz Roglic is sat on the ground, grieving.

The old adage is it takes one bad day to lose the Tour but jeez, can you imagine that one bad day being the last one that matters.

In a show of exceptional sportsmanship Roglic then gets up to embrace Tadej Pogacar and congratulate his compatriot.

    Breaking

    Breathtaking.

Tadej Pogacar produces one of the best rides in Tour de France history to overhaul Primoz Roglic and win the 2020 title.

Roglic finished 1mins 56secs back on Pogacar, meaning the younger Slovenian has won the title by 59 seconds.

Pogacar hasn't worn the yellow jersey at all in this race. The first time he will ever do so will be to ride into Paris and be crowned champion.

    That was absolutely incredible.
