A bunch sprint should really be the order of the day in Nimes as the overall race leaders riders get their legs back with the Pyrenees on the horizon.

But could the wind impact on this stage?

Apparently it's blowing a fair bit over in the south west of France, causing the start of the publicity caravan and the rollout to be delayed, each by around 10 minutes.

And after his mini crack on Wednesday, will anyone be able to use that to their advantage, to put the yellow jersey, Tadej Pogacar, under pressure?

    Time will tell I suppose.

Mark Cavendish has made it through the Alps, and over a punishing double ascent of Mont Ventoux.

And now we're on a relatively flat track as the race travels 159.4km from Saint-Paul-Trois-Chateaux to Nimes.

    He couldn't, could he?
