    Time for me to head off.

    Remember it's a rest day on Monday as the Tour travels from Denmark to France.

    So we shall be back for stage four on Tuesday when the race travels a 171.5km coastal route from Dunkirk to Calais.

  2. 'It's been a long way back' - Groenewegen

    Dylan Groenewegen's victory comes two years after he collided with stage two winner Fabio Jakobsen at the Tour of Poland.

    It caused horrific injuries to his fellow Dutch rider with Groenewegen handed a nine-month ban by world governing body the UCI as a result.

    While the BikeExchange-Jayco rider did not suffer physically as much as Jakobsen from that incident, he faced death threats and abuse and says it has been a "long way back".

    "I want to say thank you to my team and my family and friends for getting me back to the Tour in good shape. It's beautiful.

    "Not physically but mentally it's been a hard time of course after all that happened. This is for my wife and my son, it means a lot."

    Groenewegen also said he was held up in a late crash that split the peloton a little over 10km from the line, though he was in the right place when it mattered. "Yesterday I was a little bit angry with myself but today, though I was a long time boxed in and involved in a crash with nine kilometres to go, my team brought me back into position and I stayed calm to the end," he added.

    At least the four-time champion can crack a joke about being presumably caught up in that late pile-up.

  5. Pogacar just escapes trouble

    Just had another look at that crash around 10km from the finish. Tadej Pogacar was very nearly a casualty of that.

    The defending champ was pretty much the last rider through and just about kept his balance to stop himself from hitting the deck.

    That incident has definitely had an impact on the top 10. There are a couple of notable changes with Adam Yates and Tom Pidcock now both in there.

  9. That's Dylan Groenewegen's first stage win at the Tour de France for three years.

    Wout van Aert is beaten into second place for the third day running, while Jasper Philipsen looks to have come through and pinched third from Peter Sagan, who still has designs on winning a record-extending eighth green jersey.
