Well, it wasn't the most exciting day of racing in this year's Tour, but what a finish. You can read all about how it happened by scrolling back through this live page, or by reading our developing report.

That's me done for today. Join us again on Thursday for stage 12, which takes the race 168.8km from Roanne to Belleville-en-Beaujolais. Bye for now.

  2. No change at the toppublished at 16:50 British Summer Time 12 July 2023

No change at the top of the General Classification by the way. Overall leader Jonas Vingegaard still leads Tadek Dogacar, sorry I mean Pogacar, by 17 seconds.

  3. 'An incredible Tour so far'published at 16:49 British Summer Time 12 July 2023

"It is an incredible Tour so far," says Jasper Philipsen on ITV Sport after his fourth stage win of the 2023 race. "I am super proud and really happy with my shape, and also to get through the final without problems was also a big challenge, but we managed to do it four times in a row. I am super happy.

On today's win, without the help of regular lead-out man Mathieu van der Poel: "I can also win without him, but of course he makes it more easy. I had to find my wheel a little bit, and it is also about finding your space. It is hectic so it is dangerous for crashing but I was happy I could find a good wheel of Groenwegen in the end. He opened up early and I could go over."

  4. Philipsen times it rightpublished at 16:43 British Summer Time 12 July 2023

It's so good watching the replay of that Philipsen win. He had to jostle for position before following Wout van Aert up to the front with 300m to go. Then he latched on to Dylan Groenewegen's wheel before flying past him at the right moment - and he was well clear at the line.

  5. The Green machinepublished at 16:38 British Summer Time 12 July 2023

Here's the top five for the stage. Philipsen also increases his lead in the points category and it doesn't look like anyone is getting the green jersey off him anytime soon.

    1. Jasper Philipsen

    2. Dylan Groenewegen

    3. Phil Bauhaus

    4. Bryan Coquard

    5. Mads Pedersen

The last rider to win four bunch sprints in a single Tour de France was Mark Cavendish in 2021... how many will Jasper Philipsen end up with in 2023?

The Belgian held four fingers up in celebration at the line. He might need two hands in Paris at this rate...

Philipsen used Wout van Aert's wheel to launch himself this time, and fly past Dylan Groenewegen.

Perfect timing again, but this time without Mathieu van der Poel

Ah it's not van der Poel. Philipsen is next to Caleb Ewan behind Van Aert.

    5km to go

Jumbo-Visma are up there now, setting the pace with Jonas Vingegaard about three riders back. They want to get the race leader safely into the last 3km, where he won't lose any time if he is caught in a crash.

The rain is following the race and it is still pouring on the peloton, even though it is dry at the finish line.

    7.5km to go

Some roundabouts and tight bends to come in the final few kilometres in Moulins so this is a far from straightforward run-in to the finish.

    9km to go

Jasper Philipsen's Alpecin-Deceuninck train are content to hover just off the front and let Soudal-Quick Step dictate things. Julian Alaphilippe is calling the shots for Fabio Jakobsen's team.

Lotto Dstny emerge from the peloton, trying to guide Caleb Ewan forward, but it is still Soudal-Quick Step at the front.
