Felix Gall is first over the last climb of this year's Tour de France. Vingegaard and Pogacar are on his shoulder, watching each other intently. The Yates brothers are 20 seconds back.
9km to go
Less than 1km to go to the summit of the Col du Platzerwasel - when will Pogacar attack?
9.2km to go
It's just the Yates brothers chasing the front three now, about 22 seconds back. Pinot has given this everything but he has been dropped again.
9.5km to go
A little further down the road, Tom Pidcock and his Ineos team-mate, Carlos Rodriguez, soldier on - Rodriguez still bleeding from that earlier tumble.
10.3km to go
Felix Gall is still plugging away, but he must know the stage win is between Pogacar and Vingegaard now. Those three have a lead of 20 seconds over Simon and Adam Yates, and Thibault Pinot is in their little group too, along with Warren Barguil.
10.7km to go
More moves. Adam Yates leaves Carlos Rodriguez behind him and goes off to try to catch his twin brother Simon.
11km to go
Pogacar has the most explosive sprint but there is a long flat section after the summit so this stage won't be decided at the top of this mountain.
11.5km to go
Ah, not for long. Pidcock and Barguil are distanced quickly. It's just Gall, Pogacar and Vingegaard at the front of the race. Simon Yates is trying to get across to them, he is currently 23 seconds back.
11.8km to go
Thibault Pinot is dropped. Pidcock and Barguil cling on to Vingegaard, Gall and Pogacar's wheels.
12km to go
it's down to tactics now, as well as what's in everyone's legs. Hard to back against Vingegaard right now though for the stage win. Less than 4km to the summit.
12.3km to go
Pogacar, Vingegaard and Gall all want the stage win, so do the Yates brothers, who are in the next group on the road.
12.5km to go
Felix Gall, Vingegaard and Pogacar are going to catch the front three - it looks like Pinot's dream farewell to the Tour will end in tears.
12.8km to go
It is about 4.5km to the top of this climb... Felix Gall catches up with Vingegaard and Pogacar as they ease up.
Up the road, Pidcock and Barguil have caught Pinot.
13km to go
Pogacar bursts away but he cannot drop Vingegaard. The pair of them have got Pidcock and Barguil in their sights already.
13.5km to go
It's all on this climb then. Pinot is puffing and panting but has not given up yet... the lead is down to eight seconds though ... and down the road Pogacar attacks.
13.5km to go
Not as much support for Pinot on this climb... the gap is coming down, Pidcock and Barguil just 10 seconds down.
14km to go
Carlos Rodriguez is not showing up on the rider tracker but is still in the yellow jersey group, so is Adam Yates.
15km to go
Pinot takes off his gloves, his eyes are only looking up the road. He's got a lead of 18 seconds on Pidcock and Warren Barguil, with Chris Harper dropped again. The Team UAE led peloton are one minute and eight seconds behind Pinot.
16km to go
Thibault Pinot has just hit the final climb of the day, the Category One Col du Platzerwasel. It's 7.1km at an average gradient of 8.4% and he has a lead of 22 seconds... what's left in his legs, in his last ever Tour de France?
20km to go
Gaudu, Sepp Kuss and Carlos Rodriguez all started the day in the top 10 of the GC but they have all crashed and are going to lose time.
Meanwhile, Thibault Pinot plunges downhill. His lead is still 30 seconds so Tom Pidcock is not gaining much at the moment.
