Taylor responds with a 15-darter of his own by finishing double 16 at the first time of asking.

100% on the doubles for both men so far. Keep that up fellas!

Phil Taylor v Raymond van Barneveld

Taylor looks in jovial mood as he enters the arena.

The atmosphere in Cardiff has just ramped up a notch.

It'll be Van Barneveld to throw first.

Phil Taylor v Raymond van Barneveld

    Thanks Jay.

It's certainly a meeting of two sporting giants.

The head-to-head record favours The Power with 56 wins to Barney's 16.

But the big Dutchman was in superb form in his demolition of MvG earlier.

Van Barneveld is on his way to the stage.

Next up we've got Phil Taylor versus Raymond van Barneveld which I'm sure will be a tremendous match.

The one and only Gary Smee will take you though that one. I'm off to lie down..

Once Mensur Suljovic got in at 6-4 at the break, he defended really well, even when Peter Wright had his 144 finish. Now it's a straight shootout between Gary Anderson and Peter Wright tomorrow.

He knows what he's got to do, he's got to win tomorrow. He's just got a prepare for it as a knockout game. Peter will be disappointed. Mensur got in at early doors and Peter never got back.

    Breaking

    Peter Wright 8-10 Mensur Suljovic

Suljovic is given six darts at 126 and the pressure tells. He misses three match darts at double 16.

Snakebite misses his chance to steal the leg and the crowd don't make it easy for Mensur. They jeer to put him off but it doesn't work. That double eight and this match is his.

Another shock from the big Austrian!

Me likey. Mensur Suljovic you son of a gun.

He fires a bullseye and double 16 to take out 82 and come within one leg of victory.

    What a guy.

    Peter Wright 8-8 Mensur Suljovic*

Mensur Suljovic fires home a ninth 180 but Peter Wright is having none of it.

The colourful Scot throws double eight to level it up once more.

  14. Wright takes out 144published at 20:24 British Summer Time 16 September 2017

    *Peter Wright 7-8 Mensur Suljovic

Eight maximums and three 177s from Mensur Suljovic so far and he's putting the pressure on Peter Wright.

That pressure is dealt with, however. Peter Wright checks out 144 with two treble 18s and a double 18 finish.

Wow. Arguably the best finish we've seen in the competition so far.

A seventh 180 of the match and his tenth of the competition so far and Mensur Suljovic is suitably on fire in Cardiff.

He's averaging just over 100, too. Some fine darts being thrown, here. But he leaves 38 from a 122 checkout attempt.

Luckily Wright misses double 12 and Suljovic nails his favourite double 14 and he's two legs away from victory.

A maximum from Snakebite but could it be too late as Suljovic requires double nine?

Luckily not as he misses three darts at it and the Scotsman wins the leg on double 10.

    Game on!

    Peter Wright 5-7 Mensur Suljovic*

Snakebite claws it back to a two-leg game once again with a fine double 16.

Can he regain some form and come from behind to seal victory here?

    *Peter Wright 4-7 Mensur Suljovic

A 180 right out of the bat with Mensur Suljovic's first three darts since their return to the stage. And he follows that up with another maximum.

But sarcastic boos ring around the Motorpoint Arena as he misses his seventh T20. Luckily it doesn't matter as he finishes with a stunning 11-dart leg on double tops.
