We're almost ready to get under way, much like the ParalympicsGB flagbearer, equestrian rider Lee Pearson.
Ready for some stats?
At the last four Paralympics, Great Britain have finished in the top three of the medal table.
This year's team contains 264 athletes: swimmer Abby Kane is the youngest, at 13, while equestrian rider Anne Dunham is competing in her fifth games at 67-years-old.
They've been set a target of 121 medals in Rio - that's one more than their London 2012 haul.
The good people over at 5 Live have put together a Paralympic preview, featuring Jonathan Overend and Gigi Salmon.

The Rio Paralympics are here
Four years ago 'The Superhumans' rocked up in London and put on the show of a lifetime.
2012 saw ParalympicsGB secure 120 medals, from cyclist Sarah Storey winning her 11th Paralympic gold to Jonnie Peacock setting a Paralympic record in the T44 100m.
Now, it's Rio's turn to feel the Paralympic love.
We've got 10 days of live sport to enjoy. Ten days to watch athletes at the top of their game smash records, win medals and make this the best Games they possibly can.
Over 4,300 athletes and more than 160 teams are ready to compete for one of the 528 medals that are on offer.
Rio, let's go.
