I'm sorry to drag this up in this glorious week for you Gunners out there, but Arsenal were the last team to be winning at half-time of a Champions League final and not lift the trophy.
Sol Campbell's header had put Arsenal 1-0 up in Paris eight years ago - but Barcelona eventually found two late goals to lift the cup.

Diego Godin is the first Uruguayan to score in a Champions League final.
But the fact that Gareth Bale is not (yet) the first Welshman to do so is equally as important. Unfortunately that miss could well be a huge moment in Bale's career.

One end of the Estadio da Luz is rocking off its foundations as the Atleti fans bounce up and down in glee. Iker Casillas was a match-winner off the bench for Real 12 years ago but that was a real misjudgement.
