    Colombia's keeper saves

Best chance so far for Greece as Carlos Sanchez's clearance spills out to Panagiotis Kone on the edge of the area and he strikes a first-time effort that Colombia keeper David Ospina clings gratefully to.

Another chance for Colombia as Victor Ibarbo lofts a high ball into the area for Juan Cuadrado to chase. He watches it drop and opts to attempt the spectacular, but instead volleys well over.

"They are scary with their pace and it's not just one or two of them. Greece are doing what they don't like doing, having to push a bit and they don't like leaving space at the back. They can't sit back.

"The Greeks only lost four goals in qualification but only scored 12 goals in 10 so to be a goal down will be concerning for them.

"Any Celtic fans will know there are two Georgios Samarases. One of them is a world class player and the other definitely isn't. The one we're seeing at the moment is the latter. His shoulders are down and his touch is poor. You know the quality is in there but the attitude has to be right because Greece really need him."

Colombia's pace on the break is quite frightening and it almost produces a great chance for Teofilo Gutierrez when the ball spills out to him unmarked on the right side of the area. The striker opts to try to pass across the face of goal though, when the better option would be to shoot, and his effort is cleared.

Pablo Armero gets lucky with a lapse of concentration as he lets a ball run through for Vasilis Torosidis on the right but manages to recover quickly enough to put the Roma defender's cross out for a corner. Decent spell for Greece at the moment.

Mwatekowa:, external Surely this Colombian side can't keep up this pace for 90 minutes? They seem to be full of energy, wonderful to see though.

"Georgios Samaras is an enigma. He can be unplayable at times and he can be off the boil too. He's a big game player. He needs a bit of love, but he's gifted. He can be a hell of a player."

Better from Georgios Samaras as he darts towards the area from the left before letting fly with an effort that Colombia keeper David Ospina does well to hold at his near post.

Finally something for Greek fans to shout about as Dimitrios Salpingidis brushes off his marker on the left to fire a cross into the area. He finds Panagiotis Kone, who balloons a first-time shot well over the bar.

Andrew: The travelling support from these South American countries is something vey special. The sights, sounds and colours in the stands from Brazil, Mexico, Chile and Colombia have been amazing, and we haven't even seen Argentina or Uruguay in action yet. The fans and the football have been great, what a tremendous World Cup so far.

Carlos Sanchez is going to have to tread a little carefully now after earning himself a yellow card for bringing down Georgios Samaras midway inside the Colombia half.

Greece are struggling to break down the Colombia defence, with first Georgios Samaras running down a blind alley before Jose Holebas's attempt to get into the area is halted. Could be a difficult afternoon ahead for them.

  13. Women's World Cup qualifyingpublished at 17:20 British Summer Time 14 June 2014

England eased to a Women's World Cup qualifying win against Belarus, winning 3-0.

Eni Aluko, Steph Houghton and Lucy Bronze got the goals that puts them in a strong position to qualify for next year's tournament.

"World Cups change styles and attitudes. I'm looking at this and thinking teams are just throwing off the shackles and teams are just going for it. It comes down to looking at who has won the big prizes in the last few years. Attacking football works.

"I know big Sam Allardyce asked questions about his defensive ability but Armero is causing problems for the Greek defence with his pace and his willingness to just pin his ears back.

"The Colombians have got their early goal and now they're playing their more usual game now, on the counter and with pace when the opportunities come."

Greece's gameplan has gone into disarray after that early goal. They have to attack, but will also no doubt be mindful of not falling further behind. Colombia are well in control, with their front four particularly impressive. Juan Zuniga attempts a through ball but Teofilo Gutierrez is flagged offside.

Greece win a free kick just outside the area, prompting whistles and jeers from the vocal Colombia fans. Their efforts possibly do the intended job as Jose Holebas smacks his effort into the Colombia wall.

That goal sparked a great celebration from Pablo Armero, who was on loan at West Ham from Napoli last season, and his teammates as they danced with the Colombia subs on the edge of the pitch. Superb stuff.

"Colombia have got the best celebration of the World Cup so far by a mile. They showed the benefit of the full-backs pushing up at the same time. The left-back finished and the right-back started the move. It can go against you when teams break against you but what a start for them.

"It's a phenomenal start. So often the games have started very quickly. Greece have got to come out now and it will add up to what I suspect will be another great game."
