England coach Roy Hodgson continues to have the full support of his players, says goalkeeper Joe Hart.

"Of course he does. We've got to stick together. We came into this as a group," he said. "We haven't succeeded but have to stick together. They prepared us as best they could and we haven't performed on the field."

Javier Mascherano is not happy with referee Milorad Mazic for a few tackles going in, but the whole Argentine side are growing frustrated as they can't find that opening goal. The longer Iran hold on, the more annoyed the South Americans will get.

Goalkeeper Joe Hart says England's early World Cup exit, external is the lowest point of his career.

"Right now it is. It is a strange empty feeling. I've put everything into this tournament, like I do in everything I do in my career. But it is cruel, it is really gutting for me," admitted the Manchester City player.

"They are offering absolutely nothing going forward, Iran. A very difficult position to be in but you have to show a little more. They will have to do better in an attacking sense and get more support to the front man.

"They will be delighted if they can weather the next 15 minutes though and take all the sting out of the game."
