Roy Hodgson and his FA colleagues will be very thankful to Luis Suarez today.

The England team landed at Manchester airport this afternoon, back on home soil before half of the groups have even finished playing.

But there was no flash of photographers' bulbs, no hounding from the broadcast media, no security forces needed to usher them to baggage collection.

Because everyone is talking about Suarez. England's limp campaign has already been consigned to the archives, with pub quiz compilers already making note of the XI who started against Costa Rica yesterday.

  3. Team newspublished at 23:58 British Summer Time 24 June 2014

Nigeria centre-back Godfrey Oboabona says he has recovered from the ankle injury that ruled him out of the victory against Bosnia-Hercegovina.

However, coach Stephen Keshi may be reluctant to change a winning team and could keep faith with Joseph Yobo, who is set to win his 100th cap.

Argentina are already through to the last 16 and could rest key players.

Left-back Marcos Rojo is one booking from a suspension and is likely to be replaced by Jose Basanta.

  4. Permutationspublished at 15:41 British Summer Time 24 June 2014

Argentina are already through, and a draw in their match with Nigeria will see them win the group and the Super Eagles qualify in second place. If the African side win, they will top the group.

Iran must beat Bosnia-Hercegovina, and rely on an Argentina victory that is big enough for Iran's goal difference or goals scored tally to better Nigeria's.

Bosnia cannot qualify for the next round.
