The magnitude of Germany's win over Brazil seems to have registered on the consciousness of Hollywood film stars. Yes even actress Joan Collins felt Brazil's pain during the match.

If you were surprised by the poor quality of Brazil's defending last night spare a thought for former Liverpool and Scotland centre-back and hard-to-please BBC pundit Alan Hansen.
"In 22 years as a pundit, and 40 years in the game, I have never seen anything like it," he said after last night's game.
"We said before the match that David Luiz is the captain, supposed to be the leader, but he has abandoned ship I am afraid. He has disappeared."

Some Brazilian media have blamed Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger for their side's 7-1 hammering at the hands of Germany last night., external
Jagger attended the match at the Mineirao stadium and has a woeful record of backing teams to win tournaments shortly before their elimination.

Franz Beckenbauer might have been lost for words to describe Germany's performance, but Dietmar Hamann had no trouble.
The former Liverpool midfielder was part of the Germany team which lost 2-0 to Brazil in the 2002 World Cup final, the only other occasion the two countries have met at the tournament.

It seems that it England don't have a monopoly on "root and branch reviews" after a tournament exit.
BBC Sport's South American football expert Tim Vickery believe that Brazilian football can no longer hide behind the dazzle of five World Cups - the most recent of which came in 2002.
"Even the most blinkered Brazil fan can no longer point to the triumphs of the past and pretend there are no problems with the country's football," he writes.
"The Brazilian club game is currently a shambles, both in terms of organisation off the field and ideas on it."

Brazilian newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo, external is predictably gloomy, describing the loss as the worst in history above a picture of the scoreline illuminating a darkened stadium.
The Daily Telegraph, external strikes a more sombre note with its headline 'BROUGHT TO THEIR KNEES' alongside a picture of crestfallen defender Maicon.
Meanwhile the Daily Mirror, external reflect the magnitude of the 7-1 scoreline and the quality of Germany's performance with the headline 'ROUT OF THIS WORLD'.
The British newspapers have been quick to dig out their best Brazilian puns to reflect the hosts' exit at the hands of Germany. The Daily Star, external goes simply for 'SAMBAARGH'
Brazilian journalist Fernando Duarte tweeted rather poignantly, external immediately after last night's defeat that "all things must pass".
His account from within the "mixed zone" - the area where the players walk past journalists after the match and some stop to give short interviews - concludes by claiming that the loss was "the moment Brazilian football as we know it died a horrible and painful death".
