"To the fans, I'll always have a special relationship with you and can't begin to express how much your support has meant to me, particularly in tough times when I was injured.

"I can't wait to get started at QPR now and look forward to wearing the famous hoops for the first time."

Chris, Man Utd fan in London: Transfer deadline day should be a public holiday.

Tony, a Spurs fan: Can't believe we sold Sandro! Come on Spurs we need a striker.

Mark in Canterbury: Arsenal should get the double from Man U and get Welbeck and Cleverley. Would add some great depth to the squad!

  11. Where's Falcao?published at 22:25 British Summer Time 1 September 2014

Has anyone seen Radamel Falcao? He had agreed a loan move to Manchester United before I'd got out of bed this morning - and he's still not signed up!

Daily Telegraph football correspondent Henry Winter:, external Good luck to Micah Richards on his move to Fiorentina. As Vincent Kompany always says, more English players should go abroad, developing.

Ben Jones:, external The embarrassing thing for United is they aren't now just trying to buy the title, but buy top 4!

Nick:, external I doubt Falcao to Man Utd will go through. Same thing happened with Coentrao last season. All the talk, then nothing.

Didier Dixon:, external Cracking signing for QPR though Sandro. Someone to sit in that three-man midfield letting the others move forward.

Interesting move for Celtic who have signed Serbia international Stefan Scepovic from Sporting Gijon.

Scepovic had decided against an agreed move to the Scottish champions late on Sunday.

But a switch to Getafe has collapsed and Celtic welcomed him back with open arms...

Some meat on the bones of that Micah Richards deal. BBC Sport understands Fiorentina paid £3.5m to take the defender on loan for a season and will have to fork out another £4.7m if they want to make the move permanent next summer.

Liam John Taylor:, external Spurs need a striker, cannot rely on Soldado and Adebayor.

Nick Kelly:, external Blind is a great signing for United, feel a bit safer with him at the back but we're crying out for 4-3-3 or 4-1-2-1-2.

Nick Locke:, external Harry Redknapp made moves for Defoe & Kranjcar?! He does know it's real life and not a dusty old copy of Football Manager?!

Graham in Oldham: So Welbeck gets Champions League football. Falcao, Di Maria, Van Persie and Rooney don't. Weird!!

John in Blackpool: Blackpool - no signings. We will be going down. Oyston a disgrace. Will be lucky if Riga stays.

Brian in Bolton: We are short on strikers and other positions and all we have are rumours on Beckford to Fulham. It's just ridiculous!
