Michael McGovern palms away Anthony Stokes' corner under intense pressure from Virgil van Dijk. The Hamilton goalkeeper had to make that connection.
Caley Thistle goalkeeper Dean Brill to the rescue again as he beats away a drive from scorer Yoann Arquin, the striker having been found in plenty of space at the back post.
Ross County again threaten to increase their lead as Darren Maatsen sets up Rocco Quinn in the clear 14 yards from goal, but the midfielder delays his shot to get it on his better foot and his low drive bounces off the legs of goalkeeper Dean Brill.

"A few groans from the Celtic fans as miss-placed passes break up attacks.
"Hamilton have not been overawed by the occasion in the first 15 minutes."
Ross County are looking the more likely to add to the scoring at Caledonian Stadium and Filip Kiss sends a curling free-kick a couple of feet over the crossbar.
Celtic miss a great chance as John Guidetti is put one-on-one with the goalkeeper after Scott Brown's header exposes Hamilton's central defence, but the on-loan Manchester City striker puts his effort wide.
Tony Andreu tries to lob Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon on the turn, but the French midfielder's effort flies over.
Caley Thistle goalkeeper Dean Brill stays on his line as a cross from Rocco Quinn loops onto the edge of the six-yard box and Yoann Arquin rises high above his marker to head Ross County into the lead.
Caley Thistle's Greg Tansey is the latest to go into the referee's book for a late challenge.

"Celtic adopt the now familiar three-pronged attack with the returning John Guidetti leading the line flanked by Anthony Stokes on the left and Wakaso Mubarak on the right.
"It's a five-man midfield behind Hamilton striker Mikael Antoine-Curier."
Ross County go close to opening the scoring as Filip Kiss forces a point-blank save from goalkeeper Dean Brill and, when the ball is played back into the penalty box, the Slovakia midfielder hits a first-time effort wide.
Hamilton immediately miss a chance to take the lead as Dougie Imrie fails to connect with a cross to the near post and Emilio Izaguirre provides a desperate clearance to prevent Mickaël Antoine-Curier turning the ball into the net.
Hamilton kick-off at Celtic Park looking for a shock win that would take them to the top of the table.
After receiving that booking, Filip Kiss wins an equally soft free-kick on the edge of the Inverness box after flopping to the ground under a Ross Draper challenge. Graham Carey loops a couple of feet over the crossbar, so perhaps justice is done.
Filip Kiss is penalised for a trip on Marley Watkins. Ross County's creative force will have to be careful after what is a harsh early booking.

Gary Warren's poor defensive header loops into the path of County's Rocco Quinn, but the midfielder's attempt at a side-foot volley from 12 yards at the back post is all wrong and it bobbles wide.
Billy McKay forces the first save of the match from Mark Brown, who gets down well to save the striker's low drive from the edge of the penalty box.
Estimates suggest there are only about 400 Ross County fans in Caledonian Stadium as the teams kick-off. A bit disappointing that for the visitors I would imagine.
There's a lively atmosphere in Inverness as we approach kick-off.
