  5. Celtic manager Ronny Deilapublished at 22:16 British Summer Time 23 October 2014

"When we got to 2-0, I thought the game was over, but they got back into it, which was disappointing.

"I am very happy for the three points of course.

"We gave them chances with some bad passing and going too slow, with too many passes on the ball.

"It was better in the second half and Scepovic had two good chances and I'm very happy that he eventually got a goal.

"It was a big relief for him and I'm sure it won't be the last goal we see from him.

"In the end, we had eight chances, which is good in the end, but we have to move the ball quicker.

"I hear that Salzburg won as well and, if we both win next week, we are through."

"Celtic were slightly better in the second half. They could not have been much worse. They had pockets when they played well and they had five minutes where they scored two goals. They could have conceded more and I think they got away with it tonight."

We lost track of the game in Austria during that action-packed second half in Glasgow. Salzburg look to be heading for victory after Andre Ramalho Silva extended their lead after the break before Alan Carvalho completed his hat-trick. Late replies from Arijan Ademi and Angelo Henriquez made the scoring a bit less embarrassing for Dinamo Zagreb.

Stefan Scepovic again misses the target when a poor defensive header falls to the striker 30 yards from goal. The Serb spots the Astra goalkeeper off his line, but his tired effort isn't anywhere good enough.

Stefan Scepovic is back to his old ways after Wakaso Mubarak's low cross almost deceives Silviu Lung Jr. The Astra goalkeeper pushes it off the line, but the striker side-foots wide under pressure from five yards.

Beram Kayal misses a great chance to give Celtic breathing space with a terrible side-footed effort when the midfielder finds space just inside the penalty box.

Just when it looked like Celtic had a spring in their step that suggested they would go on to a more emphatic victory, Astra strike back. William Amorim's low ball into the box is flicked past goalkeeper Craig Gordon at the front post by Constantin Budescu.

Aleksandar Tonev's low cross can only be pushed away by Astra goalkeeper Silviu Lung Jr and Stefan Johansen hammers the loose ball in off the underside of the bar.

"Stefan Scepovic is off and running, with a vital goal that could go a long way to putting Celtic into the next round of the Europa League. Fair play to Ronny Deila for keeping him on when he could justifiably have replaced him. Can Celtic now kill the game off or at the very least keep Astra at bay at the other end?"

Celtic take full advantage of the referee's free-kick award and Anthony Stokes' free-kick his headed in off the underside of the bar by .... wait for it .... Stefan Scepovic. Told you he was a superb striker!
