  1. Championship updatepublished at 16:28 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Watford are running riot at Vicarage Road. They now lead Blackpool 5-2 after having trailed by two goals at half-time, Gabriele Angella with the fifth - that's five in 19 minutes. Elsewhere, Norwich are level at 1-1 at home to Brentford, and there are still no goals in Wigan v Huddersfield or Wolves v Charlton.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Frank Lampard doesn't need this. He should be on a yacht somewhere now, with Christine Bleakley. Not attempting an FA Cup rescue act. He's on, as is Fernandinho. They have about 20 minutes left to keep City in the FA Cup.

  3. GOALpublished at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

What did I tell you? This game is not over as Sheffield United take a quick free-kick and Diego De Girolamo drives in from a cut back.

  4. GOALpublished at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Equaliser! Oliver Norwood lifts a free-kick over the wall and into the net from the edge of the box. Game on!

  5. Postpublished at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Sheffield United are threatening a bit more now and Preston keeper Thorsten Stuckmann is twice called into action, first making himself big to block Jamie Murphy's effort before punching Jose Baxter's free-kick clear. This tie is not over yet.

  6. Postpublished at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

    Steve Claridge
    Final Score

"He's got ability has Tomlin, no doubt about, but by putting it on the outside of his right foot it puts too much on it and it comes off the inside of the post. City are all over the place."

  7. Postpublished at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Even a few minutes on the cameras pick out Lee Tomlin shaking his head in midfield. He knows they will not get a better chance to kill this tie off. But the touch was magnificent. Bergkamp-esque.

  8. CLOSE!published at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Darren Bent almost, almost gets his second. One-on-one with Tommy Lee the Chesterfield goalkeeper, the Aston Villa loanee striker tries to lift a bouncing ball into the net from outside of the box, but Lee is equal to it and the away side are still in this.

  9. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Albert Adomah is through for Middlesbrough but can't find a meaningful strike - City are on the edge.

And what a goal that would have been! Lee Tomlin rolls away from Vincent Kompany with a magnificent piece of skill, he's in on goal and goes with the outside of his boot - and slams against the base of the post and away!

What a chance. Tomin can't believe it.

  10. RED CARD - SUNDERLAND'S JACK RODWELLpublished at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

How costly could this moment be?

Fulham keeper Marcus Bettinelli looks to clear the ball but Jack Rodwell flings out an arm to stop him. The outcome? A second yellow for the former Manchester City midfielder and a potentially nervy final 25 minutes for the Premier League side.

  11. Postpublished at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Chances at both ends at White Hart Lane as Erik Lamela drives over from Mousa Dembele's ball, before Michel Vorm clutches Leonardo Ulloa's header. Next goal could easily go either way.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Shane Long enters the fray as Jack Cork - recalled today - exits.

Southampton need something. They have created little in this second period and their visitors still look lively and energetic going forward.

  13. CLOSE!published at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

To wrap it up... no! Johnny Russell is clean through for Derby, does everything right as he slides a shot under the keeper, but Tendayi Darikwa works miracles for Chesterfield to slide in and clear off the line.

    About 25 minutes left.

Ross Martin:, external John Motson called it on #FootballFocus this morning. City going out of the cup...?

  15. Championship updatepublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

It doesn't get any better for Blackpool fans I'm afraid - they now trail Watford 4-2. Matej Vydra with the home side's fourth goal in 12 minutes.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

It's been quiet so far at the Stadium of Light but Jermain Defoe should score after a swift breakaway, he rattles in a half-volley at the far post and Marcus Bettinelli shovels it away.

Fulham then break, it's four on two but they make a total hash of it!

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Boaz Myhill prevented Llloyd Dyer from almost certainly bagging an equaliser for Birmingham with a brave save, but has seemingly paid the price. He has injured his finger and cannot continue, Ben Foster sticks his gloves on and heads into the Baggies' goal.

  18. Postpublished at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Bradford still not giving up on this one as Billy Knott floats a curler over the top. They are going for it.

  19. Championship updatepublished at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Watford went into the half-time break 2-0 down to bottom club Blackpool, but three goals in six minutes has seen the home side take the lead. Odion Ighalo got one back before Troy Deeney equalised, with Ighalo then adding another.

Norwich are still level at 1-1 at home to Brentford, while Wolves against Charlton and Wigan against Huddersfield are goalless.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

What is going on at the back for Manchester City?! More awful goalkeeping sees Willy Caballero play a side-foot pass straight to Boro forward Lee Tomlin. Tomlin weaves inside and Caballero makes partial amends with the block, before dong well to keep out Grant Leadbitter's rasping follow-up. Boro almost in dreamland...
