Elsewhere, Norwich are level at 1-1 at home to Brentford, and there are still no goals in Wigan v Huddersfield or Wolves v Charlton.

Frank Lampard doesn't need this. He should be on a yacht somewhere now, with Christine Bleakley. Not attempting an FA Cup rescue act. He's on, as is Fernandinho. They have about 20 minutes left to keep City in the FA Cup.

It's been quiet so far at the Stadium of Light but Jermain Defoe should score after a swift breakaway, he rattles in a half-volley at the far post and Marcus Bettinelli shovels it away.

Fulham then break, it's four on two but they make a total hash of it!

Boaz Myhill prevented Llloyd Dyer from almost certainly bagging an equaliser for Birmingham with a brave save, but has seemingly paid the price. He has injured his finger and cannot continue, Ben Foster sticks his gloves on and heads into the Baggies' goal.
