Stoke latch on to another half-clearance but this time it's Steven N'Zonzi who shoots - and it trickles wide. No Bojan, no party.

At the other end Joe Rafferty delivers a cracking cross on the run and Matt Done is not far away from converting. Great ball in.

Good game this, Rochdale well in it.

Tim Little: 500k for Bojan! Best business of the season by a country mile. Smart move from Hughes and Stoke. Watch and weep for other teams!

Javel Bleach: What is a player like Bojan doing at Stoke?!! When I'm looking for a decent agent, I'll be sure NOT to go to Bojan's.

Les in Brighton: Re contrasting styles... Thierry Henry and Francis Jeffers. One was world class and the other...

Since his fine goal Bojan hasn't featured much - but as I say that he drifts away from a man in midfield nicely. Would Bojan have had a chance at Stoke under Tony Pulis?

Pulis had his flair players at times. I recall Tuncay and Eidur Gudjohnsen. But they didn't stick around for long.

Great pass again from Bojan and it's well defended. Corner.

"There is a definite slope here at Spotland. Just a little one. There's still a good pace to this match. Rochdale will give it a good go."

Speaking of former Barcelona players in unusual climes, Victor Valdes is playing for Manchester United's reserves tonight.

Back at Spotland, Rochdale keep the ball well and spread the Stoke defence but the strapping figure of Steven N'Zonzi breaks it up.

Excellent defending from Joe Rafferty as he strips the ball from Victor Moses out on the left wing. Rochdale just shading possession with 53% so far.

Greg Morter: Bojan played at the Camp Nou - San Siro - Amsterdam Arena - Britannia - & now Spotland. Romance of the FA Cup.

Barry in Southend: The fourth round has been football's version of the 1967 Grand National. Which team might be the Foinavon who will skip through to the line?

BBC Sport's Gary Rose at Spotland: "Rochdale fans could not help but applaud that strike from Bojan, a begrudging acceptance of a simply brilliant finish.

"Mark Hughes is unmoved, sat in his seat in the away dugout. Rochdale boss Keith Hill is in discussions with his assistant.

"Hill was Rochdale's only fitness concern, having been laid low by illness all last week. He said he felt fine before kick-off, but that Bojan strike has probably made him a little queasy."

"Rochdale have to forget about that goal and just think it's 0-0, and try and pen Stoke back into their own half if they can."

Rochdale have reacted well to going behind, back in the swing of things and competing well. Can they test Stoke where it matters though? They have three players in the side who have scored more than 12 goals this season - there's goals in this team.

Can anyone name me a front two with more contrasting styles than Bojan and Jon Walters?

"That's fantastic technical ability. It was just a long ball forward, but you saw the way he set himself - it was such a superb strike and the keeper had no chance."

That's a dreadful start for the League One side as the away fans start a noisy rendition of 'Delilah.' Keep going...

    This boy could go far!

What a goal from Bojan, whose love affair with the Potteries continues. A wonderful strike as he latches on to a clearing header and cracks in a dipping volley from 22 yards out. Brilliant hit.

Peter Vincenti hits a low shot which is deflected away for a corner. Great start from the League One side, that gets the crowd into even more of a fervour. Stoke leave two men up and clear their lines.

BBC commentator Steve Bower at Spotland

"Bojan warmed up with big black gloves, but he's taken them off now. It's a very cold Lancashire night."
