  1. "Legend" Gerrard doesn't like derbies?published at 16:59 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2015

    Former Liverpool defender Mark Lawrenson
    Football Focus

"Yesterday I saw Steve Gerrard quoted as saying he doesn't like playing in derbies and to be honest I don't know many people who do, but he has a fantastic record in them. This will be his last at Liverpool and he has been Mr Liverpool, producing so many fantastic moments to lift the side when hey needed it. I still think his passing is as good as anyone's in the league. I very rarely use the word legend, but he really is a legend at Anfield."

  2. Team Newspublished at 16:59 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2015

Liverpool make three changes from the side that started the FA Cup win at Bolton in midweek, with 19-year-old winger Jordon Ibe in the team. Midfielder Jordan Henderson and Lucas Leiva are also back.

Everton XI: Joel, Oviedo, Jagielka, Stones, Coleman, Besic, Barry, McCarthy, Mirallas, Naismith, Lukaku.

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Can, Skrtel, Sakho, Lucas, Henderson, Gerrard, Moreno, Ibe, Coutinho, Sterling.

  4. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 16:57 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2015

A frenetic goal-mouth scramble ends with the ball rolling over the line, but the referee blows for a foul on the keeper. QPR have the ball in the net, but it's chalked off.

    Former England winger Chris Waddle
BBC Radio 5 live at Villa Park

"Chelsea have been in total control in this second half. Aston Villa could not do anything going forward, they really lacked belief and quality in the final third but they tried their best. Chelsea have done a special job here today. They are seven points clear but they were nine points earlier in the season, so it's not all over yet.

"Manchester City are still capable of going on a run, and a lot of these Chelsea players have played a lot of games already and will tire, especially with the latter stages of the Champions League still to come."

Jose Mourinho gives it the big one, whipping up the crowd an fist-pumping like a 1998 Tim Henman. A big win. A big day.

What a classy finish. The Southampton juggernaut rolls on and QPR can scarely believe it. Maya Yoshida rolls the ball into Sadio Mane, who spins Nedum Onuoha and lashes a wonderful shot into the top corner.

Richard in Hythe: Gareth from Harpenden tempting fate?

Phil from Manchester: Gareth from Harpenden. It turns out the Fiat was a better performer than the Ferrari!

Bob, a very annoyed Chelsea fan: Gavin from Harpenden owes all Chelsea fans an apology for cursing it!

    A reminder of Gareth's contribution:

Gareth from Harpenden: Speaking as a Chelsea fan, the words you always love to hear are "James Milner replaces Edin Dzeko". It's like Ferrari saying they are replacing their F1 racing car with a Fiat Uno to win a Grand Prix.

    Final Score

"Every single Hull player has been working their socks off, they've shown real resilience but James Milner has scored a goal like Roberto Carlos, exactly the same but with his right foot. Milner never gets the plaudits for how skilful he is, but this is a very special goal."

"That is a world-class free-kick. Allan McGregor can't see the ball as Milner bends his effort around the role and just inside the post."
