Meanwhile, it remains goalless between the top two with MK Dons holding league-leaders Bristol City 0-0 at Stadium:MK.
Third-placed Swindon could be the big beneficiaries, closing the gap to City to one point, with Raphael Rossi Branco's first-half strike giving Mark Cooper's side a 1-0 lead against Barnsley.
