    Rangers caretaker boss Kenny McDowall

The first half was disappointing and the manner of the goals we gave away. The second half was better.

When you lose a goal in the manner we did then it unsettles everybody.

We just couldn't get anything on target and had a lot of play. It would've been nice to give them [the fans] a goal.

This was an opportunity to get to a cup final but it's gone.

  4. 'I'm proud of the boys'published at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February 2015

    Celtic manager Ronny Deila

I'm happy, very happy. Think we played well first half and scored two good goals. We maybe could've score a few more.

I'm proud of the boys and it's a very good achievement.

The pitch was so poor today that it was hard for passing; it's not good for Scottish football. To try to entertain our fans and be creative... that's way below the standard we should be playing on.

  5. 'Settled everyone down'published at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February 2015

    Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths

To score any goal in this game is important but to score so early settled everyone down.

I was very nervous before the game but the manager told me to calm down and do my thing.

We always knew Rangers would have a go in the second half but I don't think Craig Gordon has had a save to make in the second half.

Richard Humphries: Not sure what all the fuss was about. First in premier v third in championship, 2-0 is a standard result.

Robbie Devenney: I'd be OK not having this fixture again for at least another three years It does nothing but give Scottish football a bad image.
