"I do think we are of a level right now of the Premiership teams we have beaten and over the course of a season we could match them, but I don't think we could match Celtic," says Rangers striker Kris Boyd.
"We understand where we are, but you just need to look at the FA Cup at the weekend. You can be an underdog and go and win games.
"We feel we have got good players and we can cause them problems. We have a group of hard working people who will go there and give our best and hopefully that is good enough to get us over the finish line, but we'll not get carried away."
"It is a semi-final in the Cup and a big game, so everyone is looking forward to it," said Celtic midfielder Stefan Johansen.
"I have never played in this type of game before and it will be tough game with a big crowd, but it will be fun.
"I don't know if we are the favourites. It's a cup game and anything can happen.
"You can feel in the city that a big game is coming up. You hear it wherever you go - you hear it in the grocery store."
Fans of both sides are at Scotland's national stadium ahead of the white-hot derby.
