We are off at Celtic Park, where Hamilton are looking more like Inter Milan than the Italians themselves did on Thursday. Accies are wearing the traditional black and blue stripes associated with Inter, who wore their third kit in Europa League action.

  2. Hamilton Accies manager Martin Canningpublished at 12:57 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2015

Martin Canning has just told BBC Radio Scotland that he is getting more used to the balancing act of being both player and manager.

He managed to fit in a rare pre-match interview this time, but it was still rushed.

"Any team coming here know Celtic are going to be strong favourites, but we have come here and won before," he did manage to say before dashing back to the dressing-room after his warm-up.

Asked why he had started new signing Nigel Hasselbaink up front in place of Jason Scotland, Canning added: "Hopefully he can give us goals and a bit of running power up front compared to Jason, who holds the ball up more."

bringthemonjpn: "See this as a very tight match, probably 0-0." That's a bold prediction considering the respective recent records of the two sides!

  4. John Guidetti's futurepublished at 12:49 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2015

Meanwhile, Ronny Deila was coy over a Sunday morning newspaper report suggesting that John Guidetti has been offered a multi-million pound contract by French top-flight outfit Marseille to join them in the summer.

The striker is on loan with Celtic from Manchester City and the Scottish champions hope to extend his stay when he is out of contract with the English Premier League club at the end of the season.

"It is not the last club we will hear about linked with him, but he should stay here," said Deila.

  5. Anthony Stokes' futurepublished at 12:45 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2015

Celtic manager Ronny Deila has been on BBC Radio Scotland explaining the absence once more of striker Anthony Stokes from the squad.

Stokes was left out on Thursday against Inter Milan, having been disciplined for his late return from a trip home to Ireland.

However, asked if the off-field problems were the reason for the 26-year-old sitting in the stand again, Deila said: "Stokesey has things to improve on and he knows that - and it is football things. I believe in Stokesey."

Accies give a debut to Nigel Hasselbaink after the striker was granted a much-delayed international clearance following his move from Greek football. He is joined up front by Dougie Imrie, who returns from suspension, while Mikey Devlin is in central defence in place of the suspended Jesus Garcia Tena. The other two to drop out are Danny Redmond and Jason Scotland.

Efe Ambrose replaces the injured Adam Matthews at right-back, while recent signings Stuart Armstrong and Gary Mackay-Steven are the others to drop out.

Hamilton arrive with few giving them a prayer considering they have gone seven games without a victory since Martin Canning succeeded Norwich City-bound Alex Neil as player-manager. However, they did win 1-0 at Celtic Park in October, so it is not an impossible task if they can recapture their previous form - but that is a big if!

Celtic extended their unbeaten run to 10 games with a stirring fightback in Glasgow on Thursday that kept their chances of Europa League progress alive with a 3-3 draw against Inter Milan. But how much will that effort have taken out the Celtic team? It has, as expected, persuaded manager Ronny Deila to freshen up his starting line-up - more of that later.

Welcome to our live coverage of today's coverage of the weekend's final Scottish Premiership game as leaders Celtic host Hamilton Academical. Aberdeen again pegged back the reigning champions with their impressive 3-0 win over St Mirren yesterday, but Celtic can re-establish their three-point advantage with a game in hand should they win this afternoon.
