Championship: Millwall sacked Ian Holloway earlier this week, with Neil Harris taking charge for the rest of the season. He has got off to a bad start as the Lions trail 1-0 at Bolton lead through Adam Le Fondre's strike. Birmingham are also 1-0 up in their match against Huddersfield, David Cotterill the goalscorer. A curled finish from Jordan Rhodes put Blackburn ahead at Charlton, before Craig Conway doubled their lead.

League One: It is 1-1 between Colchester and Crawley, while Coventry, Swindon, Preston and Walsall all hold one-goal leads.

"For the first, it was a good goal. I had just said Villa were getting more men forward. As it came across, Benteke almost side-footed it it, and Pantilimon had no chance. That was a very good goal, a good move altogether and Sunderland had no answer to it.

"Now you can hear the boos. I'm not sure what Riviere was thinking, maybe he thought the goalkeeper was coming for it. Sunderland are going to have to watch that it does not run away from them."

Breakthrough for the Baggies as Craig Gardner's delicious inswinging cross is met by Brown Ideye, who beats Phil Bardsley to nod home. Bardsley should have done better. Mark Hughes does not look happy.

Two in a few minuets for Villa! Tim Sherwood's side make it look easy - why play 15 passes when one will do? Ciaran Clark helps one on over the top, John O'Shea misjudges it and the pace of Gabriel Agbonlahor takes him clear. One-on-one, easy finish too.

It's taken more than 10 hours but Aston Villa have an away goal in the Premier League. A lovely flowing move sees Leandro Bacuna cut back for Christian Benteke to fire through a defender's legs and past Costel Pantilimon.

  6. CLOSE!published at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2015

Arsenal totally bossing this, they've had 78% of the ball in the opening stages. Adrian is called into serious action for the first time as Alexis Sanchez's downward header is pushed clear.

Holes are appearing in Sunderland's defence and Villa are not afraid to shoot. Charles N'Zogbia, who is getting booed for his Newcastle connections, tries his luck from 25-yards. It's not a bad effort but Costel Pantilimon is equal to it.

  8. Football League latestpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2015

Championship: Promotion-chasing Watford have taken an early lead against a Reading side that could have Monday's FA Cup quarter-final replay against Bradford on their mind. The Royals have made nine changes and are already behind, with Almen Abdi putting Watford ahead. Bournemouth are set to return to the top of the table as Brett Pitman's 11th goal of the season has put them ahead against Blackpool.

League One: Leyton Orient could move out of the relegation zone with a win, and they are already 2-0 up against Yeovil thanks to goals from Chris Dagnall and Ryan Hedges.

League Two: Wycombe lead in the big game in League Two. Sam Wood gave them a first-minute lead for third-placed Wycombe against a Shrewsbury side that started the day in second.

"I thought Aston Villa might have been a bit more adventurous in the first few minutes. There's a bit of tension around the stadium."

Arsenal look in the mood this afternoon. The sun has come out and so have the backheels and one-touch passes.

  12. Manager reactionpublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2015

QPR manager Chris Ramsey: "The first half key moments really put us on back foot and it was really disappointing at the way we defended. It killed the game before we could get into it.

"It wasn't about protection for the defence. What we needed to do was track the runners.

"Sometimes it's over by the time you begin getting back in the game.

"In the first half our play wasn't horrendous but we struggled in the key moments. All the players have come off disappointed knowing we let ourselves down in the key moments.

"We knew it was a mammoth task to stay up. We are now relying on other people which you don't want to do. But, until we get to a mathematical point where we can't survive we are going to keep going."

Pretty even start to life at the King Power Stadium, Leicester had a corner well cleared but Hull look a threat on the break.

    Chris Sutton
Former Norwich, Blackburn and Celtic striker on Final Score

"I worry about Sunderland. They are in trouble. I don't think manager Gus Poyet will be there at the start of next season, regardless of what they do. He just seems down on himself. When you look at what Tim Sherwood has done at Villa, Sunderland seem to be on a slippery slope and that is down to the manager."

BBC Sport pundit Garth Crooks on Final Score: "Gus Poyet does get agitated. They are going through a very tough time but they have to manage the most important man they have and that is the manager. They all need to be going in the right direction."

  15. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2015

Arsenal put together a lovely slick move, Olivier Giroud helps it around the corner and Theo Walcott is in! He takes too long getting a shot away though and goes down under a desperate challenge from James Collins.

Very close to a penalty, but referee Chris Foy is having none of it...

First shot on target of the day comes at The Hawthorns, where Saido Berahino drills a 25-yarder at Asmir Begovic.

Leicester may be bottom of the table but I tell you what, their groundstaff have done a wonderful job with the pitch today. Supreme mowing.

They've put a lovely striped pattern across the turf. I'm not sure I'd ever go as far as to say it's worth watching Match of the Day just to see a pitch, but it's not far off being a must-see.

"I know there are nine games after this, but this would be a good springboard for the last part of the season. Neither team will settle, I think they will go for it. Sunderland are goal-shy, while Villa look to have been buoyed up by their new manager."
