Celtic have started the second half brightly. John Guidetti has been caught offside a couple of times but the Inter defence have looked vulnerable.

"Very encouraging 45 minutes for Celtic but the dismissal of Virgil van Dijk could well be pivotal to the eventual outcome.
"Other than that, they can be very happy with their first-half performance, with Craig Gordon proving just what a great goalkeeper he is at times."
It's goalless at the break but Celtic, down to 10 men following Virgil van Dijk's red card, face an almighty task if they are to get the advantage that would take them through to the next round.

Virgil van Dijk was shown a red card after picking up two bookings at the San Siro.
Couple of chances in quick succession inside the Celtic box. Juan Icardi's shot is deflected into the path of Xherdan Shaqiri, who draws a fine block from Craig Gordon.
Celtic make a change following the dismissal of Virgil van Dijk. Defender Efe Ambrose replaces winger Gary Mackay-Steven.
Juan Icardi connects with the resulting free-kick and his header looks netbound until Craig Gordon scoops the ball over. The offside flag had been raised but that was an impressive blocked by the Scotland goalkeeper.

Gary Mackay-Steven drives at the Inter defence from the halfway line and tries to slip in Stefan Johansen on the left but the Norwegian midfielder's touch lets him down and the hosts get it clear.
