This challenge by David Santon on Stuart Armstrong prompted unsuccessful penalty claims from the visiting fans.
BBC Radio Scotland commentator Liam McLeod is in full flow at the San Siro, pictured beside match summariser Pat Bonner, the former Celtic goalkeeper, and Alasdair Lamont.
Another Celtic penalty appeal is dismissed after John Guidetti goes down following Juan Jesus's challenge.
Mauro Icardi just cannot connect with David Santon's low driven ball across the face of the Celtic goal. That one got the home crowd excited.
There's a menace about Inter when they come forward, often in very quick breaks. Celtic have so far kept the Italian side at bay and are themselves eager to break at pace when they can.
Stuart Armstrong bursts into the Inter box and goes down after being closed down by Davide Santon. Armstrong and the travelling fans claim for a penalty but referee Ivan Kruzliak waves play on.

Fredy Guarin flashes a shot past the Celtic left-hand post. Pretty open so far.
Juan Pablo Carrizo comes off his line to deny Gary Mackay-Steven after the Celtic winger had latched on to Emilio Izaguirre's diagonal ball.
Inter the more forceful early on. Couple of crosses into the Celtic box and Craig Gordon has already had a couple of important catches to make.
Mauro Icardi latches on to a long ball but his shot does not have enough purchase on it, allowing Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon to gather.
More worryingly for the visitors is a knock seemingly picked up by Adam Matthews but the Welshman looks like he'll continue.
Inter Milan begin the match.
Alasdair Lamont
BBC Scotland at the San Siro
"Kick-off just moments away in the San Siro, which is about half-full. The 3,000 Celtic fans are up in the top tier of the cavernous stadium but are making themselves heard. Their team has to end a winless run here in Italy if they're to progress. No easy task but a challenge Ronny Deila and his players are relishing."
Both sets of players out on the park now and the pre-match handshakes ensue.
Colin Hunter on Facebook: "Can Celtic win? Not if they defend as badly as they do"
Brian McKie on Facebook: "No chance, then they can come home and concentrate on winning their one team league."
John Kerr on Facebook: "Celtic shall win 2-1 tonight"
Gary on Twitter: "Inter 5-0 Celtic #bbcscotfootball"
