Big, massive, huge, monumental. What word will Tim Sherwood go with if his Aston villa side can get a winner here? They could go six points clear of the drop, level with Everton.

Leandro Bacuna lumps an atrocious free-kick into the box, Fabian Delph curls one over from 20 yards. Seven minutes...

It is all very tense as this game enters the closing stages. Just one goal between the two sides, but Yannick Bolasie tries to give the visitors some much-needed breathing space but his strike is straight at Asmir Begovic.

Ten minutes left, will there be any late drama?

The 80 minutes tick up at Villa Park and this one will not make the 'Premier League Classics' reel.

Scott Sinclair - a player we have seen little of in recent seasons - cuts in from the left flank and has a bang right footed. I say has a bang, it's a trickler. He did not get hold of it.

Sinclair remember was instrumental in getting Swansea into the Premier League, scoring a hat-trick in the Championship play-off final.

"Newcastle have been so much brighter since the half-time break. John Carver got a really good reaction from his side. They are stopping Arsenal passing the ball, they're getting right in the face of their opposition, and now they're on the front foot and are well on top in this game. The tempo really has lifted and Remy Cabella has looked a real threat. It looks likely they'll go on and score an equaliser."

A chance for Arsenal as Aaron Ramsey passes to Danny Welbeck at halfway and the striker sets off on a run towards the Newcastle area. He tries to beat Tim Krul at his near post, but the Newcastle keeper is wise to it, making the save.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:36 Greenwich Mean Time 21 March 2015

    What have you got Burnley?

    Lukas Jutkiewicz.

He is on for Sam Vokes. This is a canter for Southampton. Burnley are full of fire and commitment but the home side look like they are in 'power down' mode.

How has he missed that!?? Eric Dier sends in a cross to the far post for Nacer Chadli who must score from four yards out but, somehow, he balloons his shot over the bar. Stunning.

Bafetimbi Gomis stomps in anger and screams to the heavens. Why? He has another chance and is this time denied by Ciaran Clark, who sticks out his right leg to deflect the ball behind.

It was slick work by Jefferson Montero, a neat cut-back and Gomis picked his spot but did not factor Clark in.

On comes Andreas Weimann for Christian Benteke. Aston Villa turn to a man whose last league goal came on 2 November.

  11. Championship latestpublished at 16:32 Greenwich Mean Time 21 March 2015

Cameron Jermone and Wes Hoolahan have extended Norwich's advantage over Nottingham Forest, meaning that as it stands Alex Neil's side will move to within three points of the Championship summit.

Charlton have equalised against Reading and Leeds have done the same at Blackpool.

And Huddersfield have spurned the chance to draw level with Fulham from the penalty spot. The visitors' Shaun Hutchinson was dismissed in the incident, although there are some reports that we almost had another mistaken identity case on our hands.

  12. Postpublished at 16:32 Greenwich Mean Time 21 March 2015

Remy Cabella weaves his way through the Arsenal defence and has a go at goal, but his deflected shot is held by David Ospina. Just over 15 minutes for the hosts to find an equaliser.

    Jason Roberts
Former Blackburn striker on Final Score

"It was a very good penalty. Kane stepped up full of confidence on a hat-trick. Tottenham get out of jail a little bit there.

"Where would they be without Harry Kane's goals this season?

"He hasn't really had the service today bizarrely, but has a hat-trick."

Ed Snowdon: Like Bale, Harry Kane is already too good to not play CL. Expect several bids this summer given the dearth of English players

Charles Rigby: Harry Kane is unbelievable. Are we sure he's English?!

Daniel Woodley: Top goalscorer in the Premier League. Well done @hkane28!! Fantastic form. Surely an England start next week?

  15. Postpublished at 16:30 Greenwich Mean Time 21 March 2015

Fabian Delph is his industrious self and sizes things up as he progresses in the inside left channel. A little pass into the area for Scott Sinclair and he takes a touch and shoots all in one movement but it dribbles wide.

A goal against his old club? Not this time.

  16. Postpublished at 16:30 Greenwich Mean Time 21 March 2015

Leicester's fight has gone for the moment after another Harry Kane goal. Instead, the striker is going for a fourth and tries to meet a ball into the box with a volley, but it is not a clean connection and goes wide.

Another fine reflex save from Julian Speroni keeps Palace ahead. This time, the goalkeeper prevents Steven Nzonzi's flick going in from Charlie Adam's delivery. Great entertainment at the Britannia.

Burnley are beginning to commit bodies forward now and Southampton look like they will get acres of space to exploit on the break.

Sadio Mane cannot quite gallop to reach a pass which would have set up a three against two scenario.

If Hull City and Sunderland find wins this weekend, this result will leave Burnley four points shy of safety.

Daryl Janmaat gets forward and fancies a go at goal from over 30 yards. It would have to be spectacular from that distance to trouble David Ospina. It isn't, and doesn't.
