Drubbing. Thrashing. Thumping. Are there any other words out there to describe that. Poor old Shakhtar.
Bayern equal their heaviest Champions League win.
It is so easy. Bayern break with four men on two. Mario Gotze takes responsibility and fires low into the net.
It is 1-1 on the night at Stamford Bridge as Paris St-Germain equalise. Extra-time could be looming. Follow live text here.
Now it's Robert Lewandowski's turn to miss a good chance as he drags the ball wide of goal from inside the penalty area. He doesn't look particularly bothered though and why should he be?
Thomas Muller almost grabs his hat trick. Sebastian Rode crosses from the right and Muller bundles the ball just wide.
Bayern Munich have scored four or more goals in twelve games this season. Now that's entertainment.
You could say Robert Lewandowski has enjoyed himself this evening. His touch map above shows he has seen plenty of the ball. There could be more goals for him yet.
Robert Lewandowski has deserved that. He races through on goal and slips the ball into the corner, just.
Into the last 20 minutes and this score line could still be anything. No sign of Bayern letting up.
The domination continues...
You wouldn't want to face Bayern in the next round would you? They look far more convincing than Real Madrid did last night. Having said that, they have been playing against 10 men since the third minute.
When is Shakhtar's misery going to be over? This time Holger Badstuber rises above everyone to head home just his second goal for Bayern. Unstoppable.
A weaving run from substitute Juan Bernat but, somehow, the ball is kept out. His low shot clips goalkeeper Andriy Pyatov's heels and goes wide.
Even the home fans have gone a little quiet now. Job done, business over and you just get the feeling everyone wants to go home. Shakhtar certainly do.
Bayern will hope this win isn't too damaging as Franck Ribery now limps off injured with a dodgy ankle., Remember, Arjen Robben limped off earlier with a bad hamstring.
So close for for Shakhtar as Vyacheslav Shevchuk touches the ball just wide of the post. I'm not sure it would turned the game though.
Told you.
Franck Ribery does well to keep the ball in on the left and his pull back is fired home by Thomas Muller for his second of the night.
Here we go again. Franck Ribery plays a simple one-two with Jerome Boateng before slotting the ball in at the far post. There are more to come - believe me.
