  1. Post update

That's a wrap from us as Barca do the business.

Reaction to Bayern Munich's awesome win against Porto continues to roll on. You can follow reaction to that game in a separate page - click here to follow action from the Allianz.

    Good night!

  2. 1001 goals to see before you die

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

Barcelona hit the 1000 goal landmark in European competition in this game (including qualifiers), and have now bagged 1001 in total.

  3. PSG 'not at the same level'

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

    Pique and Luiz

PSG defender David Luiz tells ITV: "They were a better team than us in both games. They controlled the games and deserved to qualify. They had a great match and took opportunities to score when they came.

"Neymar and Luis Suarez now know what to do in the philosophy of Barca now.

"All the teams have spent money. We did very well until here, but against Barca we couldn't play at the same level. This is life.

"We need to improve and next year we will challenge for the Champions League."

  4. Football League update

    Millwall woe; Southend joy

It's been a significant night in all three divisions of the Football League with joy and heartache in equal measure.

Millwall's hopes of escaping the Championship's relegation zone suffered a big blow as they let in two late goals to the prolific Rudy Gestede and Jordan Rhodes at Blackburn. The Lions are four points adrift of safety with two games left to play.

It's as you were at the top of League One with second-placed Preston and third-placed MK Dons both winning - leaving North End a point ahead going into the final two weekends of the season. Rochdale kept their slim play-off hopes alive by beating Leyton Orient while there were draws between Swindon and Walsall (3-3) and Scunthorpe and Bradford (1-1).

The defeats for Orient and Notts County leave both clubs in desperate trouble.

Southend edged the League Two promotion clash at Bury with former Shaker David Worrall scoring the only goal to take United level on points with third-placed Wycombe.

Parul Sharma: It would be quite disappointing not to see Bayern Munich vs Barcelona final now! And won't be fair to either of team as well.

  6. Post update

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

Barcelona are through to their 11th semi-final in the Champions League. They last won it at Wembley in 2011.

Will Lionel Messi be lifting the cup again in Berlin on 6 June?

    Lionel Messi
  7. FC UNITED ON THE UP

BBC Sport's Simon Stone: "FC United's biggest crowd of the season were able to celebrate promotion to Conference North thanks to Greg Daniels' second-half header.

"Daniels met Craig Lindfield's 69th-minute cross with enough power to get it through a crowded six-yard box and to earn Karl Marginson's men a 1-0 win over Stourbridge.

"The result takes FC United five points clear of second-placed Workington in the Evo-Stik Premier League with just one game to go.

"A crowd of 3,588 were at the Tameside Stadium to witness the club who were only formed 10 years ago as a direct result of the Glazer family's takeover of Manchester United gain their fourth promotion.

"They are now just two leagues away from the Football League. And taking their place in the Evo-Stik Premier League next season will be Salford City.

"The team part-owned by the 'Class of 92' - Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Phil Neville and Nicky Butt - cannot be caught at the top of the First Division North following Darlington's failure to win at Warrington."

  8. Post update

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

Barcelona and Bayern Munich lived up to their heavyweight billing and strolled into the last four of the Champions League.

Who will join them?Tomorrow's quarter-finals see Atletico and Real Madrid go head-to-head, while Juventus and Monaco duke it out in Monte Carlo.

Jack Beardwell: Looks like the lesson David Moyes gave Luis Enrique back in January has really paid off!

  10. FULL-TIME

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

It's all over. It has been all over since last week, to be honest.

  11. CLOSE!

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

    Messi

Playground stuff now as Lionel Messi hogs it again, shooting but brilliantly this time, low and hard and inches wide!

  12. Post update

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

Lionel Messi with a great touch to beat his man and break into the box - if he squares it Pedro has a tap-in but he greedily goes alone and Maxwell shuts him out. Good defending.

  13. SIX OF THE BEST

Bayern Munich 6-1 Porto (Agg 7-4)

    Alonso

Xabi Alonso with a belting late free-kick makes it 7-4 on aggregate to Bayern Munich. What a display.

  14. Post update

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

Pep v Barca in the final? That would have a nice ring to it I think. The sides from Madrid would have something to say about that. And Juventus/Monaco...

  15. Post update

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

    Neymar

Who are favourites for the Champions League? A lot will depend on the draw for the semi-finals. That's coming up on Friday.

But if you beat Barcelona, good luck to you.

  16. Big night for FC United

BBC Sport's Simon Stone: "Finally the breakthrough for FC United.

"Craig Lindfield and substitute Shelton Payne had a header and shot cleared off the line respectively. The hosts maintained the pressure and when the ball was lofted into a packed penalty area, Greg Daniels got enough power into his header to get it through the crowd of bodies.

"A crowd of 3588 reacted in typically euphoric manner - FC United now closing in on promotion to the Conference North."

  17. Post update

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

The wheels of Lucas have made a difference to PSG, he wins a corner but now it's cleared away.

  18. SUBSTITUTION

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

PSG sub Lucas with a fine backheel and Edinson Cavani slices one rashly into the side-netting. Good chance that, lack of composure though from the Uruguayan. Who's rapidly replaced by Adrien Rabiot.

  19. Post update

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

    Messi

Barcelona continue to boss the game without working up much of a sweat. Lionel Messi looks keen to get his 76th Champions League goal but neither side are really offering a threat.

  20. SUBSTITUTION

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

Luis Suarez gets a rest as Barca make their final change of the night. Pedro comes on for the finale.

  21. Porto power

Bayern Munich 5-1 Porto (Agg 6-4)

Porto have got a goal back - they need two more in the last 20 minutes to go through.

You can follow minute-by-minute updates of that game in a separate page - click here to follow action from the Allianz.

  22. Post update

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

    Zlatan

Xavi came on at half-time and has had 34 touches - PSG forward Edinson Cavani has been on all game and had 31.

    That's got to be embarrassing.

Zlatan has his first strike in anger of the night, a swerving effort from 25 yards but Marc-Andre ter Stegen makes a fine save.

  23. Football League update

A couple of big goals have just gone in in League One which affect both ends of the table.

MK Dons have taken the led against Doncaster to once again close the gap on second-placed Preston, still 2-0 up at Notts County, to a point.

And Rochdale have kept their play-off hopes alive and hit Leyton Orient's survival hopes by going ahead at Spotland.

Meanwhile the fans in the north-west of England watching Blackburn v Millwall in the Championship and the League Two meeting of Bury and Southend are still awaiting a goal.

  24. Post update

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

The Brazilian Titus Bramble. We'd all pay good money to see him play wouldn't we?

Andy Murray is in the stands tonight.

    Luiz

OK. Let's leave poor David Luiz alone now. OK?

    Alright, here's a couple more.

Josh, Birmingham: David Luiz is an abysmal defender but a great technical footballer. As a defender, he's the Brazilian Titus Bramble

Tom Sheffield: People say Jose is a genius for getting £50mil for Luiz. I highly doubt he was the one doing the negotiations. Stop exaggerating!

And a serious one about football...

Hussein Faridany: People ignore the less obvious positives about this Barca team. No matter what they press incredibly well and are extremely fit

Again Marco Verratti is lucky not to get booked after sweeping the legs from Neymar from behind. Naughty one.

  27. Post update

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

Wonderful pass from Ivan Rakitic sends Luis Suarez away but his cross from the right is over hit. PSG make a change, the rapid Lucas is on for the final 25 minutes.

  28. Post update

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

    Blanc

PSG boss Laurent Blanc warned that his side weren't coming to Barcelona on a school trip tonight. If this was a school trip, he'd be hauled up in front of the governors. A horrible evening for all concerned.

We'll go to Hunstanton next year. There's a sealife centre and everything.

(There's nothing going on in the game by the way. A dead rubber. An ex-tie.)

  29. CLOSE!

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

    Alba

Barca are getting sloppy now, there's no jeopardy in the tie for them and it's leading to complacency. Gerard Pique slices his clearance, PSG pick out a cross from the right and Marco Verratti has all sorts of time and space on the edge of the box. Take a touch, steady yourself and hit it! But he drags it well wide. Poor technique.

Joshua Willard: Are Barcelona even running at any point?! #walkinthepark

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

Marco Verratti collects yellow cards like some do stamps, and you can see why. He can't resist a challenge and is very late on Sergio Busquets. He gets away without another yellow tonight.

Busquets is not injured but he's replaced by Sergi Roberto in midfield.

  32. Post update

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

    Messi

Lionel Messi goes for the outrageous chip, it's a good effort too but Salvatore Sirigu watches it like a hawk. Barca are 5-1 up and Messi hasn't scored...

  33. Football League latest

Millwall's hopes of survival in the Championship would receive a massive boost if they could score in the second half of their game at Blackburn. It's currently goalless at Ewood Park - and if it stays like that, the Lions would be three points adrift of safety with two matches remaining.

Promotion from League One is still in Preston's hands after they took a 2-0 half-time at relegation-threatened Notts County. They started the night in second place and a point ahead of MK Dons, who are only drawing 0-0 with Doncaster at the break.

Fourth-placed Bury and fifth-placed Southend have not been able to find a goal in the first half of their League Two clash at a packed JD Stadium - where all the fans have been allowed in for free.

  34. Post update

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1)

Xavi misplaced a pass! I have truly seen it all now. A bad ball and Zlatan Ibrahimovic starts PSG on an attack but it goes nowhere.

The French side have no belief left in the locker. They're out and they know it.

  39. Big night for FC United?

BBC Sport's Simon Stone: "Goalless first-half at the Tameside Stadium - FC United v Stourbridge.

"A draw would almost certainly promote FC United as they would have to lose by 10 goals at Workington on Saturday to end up in the play-offs.

"But with a pretty loud and vocal crowd in attendance, they would prefer to get the job done tonight.

"Craig Lindfield came closest for the hosts with a header that flicked off the bar after 11 minutes.

"Meanwhile, approximately 30 miles away and one league lower, Darlington are drawing at Warrington.

"If that stays the same, Salford City, the team part-owned by the 'Class of 92' - Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Phil Neville and Nicky Butt - will be promoted."

Tonight's events must be a bit dispiriting for sides around Europe. If a team like PSG - with all of their spending power - can get stuffed like this in the last eight, what chance have the rest of them got?

  44. Football League latest

All the Football League goals so far have come in League One with second-placed Preston taking a step nearer to automatic promotion after taking a 2-0 lead at relegation-threatened Notts County - their second coming from the division's player of the year Joe Garner.

Promotion rivals MK Dons are being held by Doncaster while Swindon, already in the play-offs, are losing to Walsall and Scunthorpe are beating Bradford.

The Championship game between Blackburn and Millwall and League Two promotion clash between Bury and Southend are both still goalless.

  45. THAT'S ENOUGH NOW

  50. GOAL

    Barcelona 2-0 PSG (Agg: 5-1) - Neymar

Another masterclass in ball-watching from David Luiz. He could give Phil Jones some lessons.

Woeful defending, and it's a Brazilian party in the PSG backline. Dani Alves is allowed time to look up and pick out a left-footed cross, Neymar is behind Luiz waiting, and he smashes in a header. PSG all over the shop.

Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez have 94 goals between them this season. Stunning effort from the Barca front three.

Remember when 20 goals was a good season for a forward? PSG having a good spell now though as Blaise Matuidi gets momentarily clear but he takes a touch too much and Jordi Alba is able to slam the door shut.

    Neymar runs past Yohan Cabaye
  60. DISALLOWED GOAL

    Barcelona 1-0 PSG (Agg: 4-1)

PSG mount their first attack, and it's a nice one on the eye. Blaise Matuidi finds a deft backheel to play in Zlatan, and he finds the bottom corner with a sweeping shot into the far corner.

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant Andres Iniesta. The man rolls back the years to produce one of the great Champions League assists.

Here they come. The sides are out at the Nou Camp.

Remember that PSG have to score three times. Even a 2-0 win would not be enough.

I've rarely seen a side look more relaxed before a big game than this Barcelona side. ALl beaming.

Zlatan and Maxwell, ex-Barca players, are also at it for PSG, back-slapping and hugging every Barca player in the tunnel.

Can PSG pull it off and come back from 3-1 down against Barcelona?

Jack Lucey: If PSG win tonight they are the best team in the world. I can't see them competing with Barca though

Nadir Hamdan: Yes, if Ibrahimovic is playing

Steven Aptroot: No Motta. No Party. He's key, not Ibrahimovic.

Thiago Motta is out with an injury for PSG tonight.

Luis Suarez did David Luiz twice last week - one more tonight and he gets to keep him.

    Barcelona v PSG (19:45 BST) (Agg: 3-1)

Barcelona's players were wearing some extraordinary gear as they came in to the Nou Camp earlier on this evening. As Roy Keane says on ITV, "They look like they're coming in from their Christmas do!"

Super relaxed times for Barca. They played brilliantly well last week and if PSG are to keep this tie alive they will have to pull one very big rabbit out of their hat.

  82. Feeling tense Thomas?

Bayern Munich v Porto (19:45 BST) (Agg 1-3)

    Thomas Muller

'It's not impossible for us to win 2-0' - the ever confident words of Bayern forward Thomas Muller yesterday as he discussed his side's chances of turning around a two-goal deficit.

Bayern were unusually sloppy in Portugal last week, gifting Porto all three goals in a shoddy display. But, as Muller says, a 2-0 home win will be enough tonight. Very doable.

Joe Sherley-Dale: Chelsea - a man for all seasons #TheSpecialOne

  84. Napping all over the world

Here's some tips on how to get the best sleep possible from elite sport sleep coach Nick Littlehales:

    • Begin a pre-sleep routine 90 minutes before bed - start turning off televisions, mobile phones and other electrical devices which give off bright light. (Unless you're reading BBC Football live text commentary - of course)
    • Have a shower prior to sleeping. Your body temperature will cool after coming out of the shower and ease you naturally into a state of sleep.
    • Drink a glass of warm milk before bed. Dairy products are rich in tryptophan, which aids the production of sleep-inducing chemicals serotonin and melatonin.

See - we've all learned something there. Namely why we can't get enough sleep...

  85. Napping all over the world

Have we all had a two-hour nap this afternoon? No?

Me neither. But maybe we should have done. Now I mention it I am a bit tired.

    Real Madrid
Image caption: Real Madrid have 81 bedrooms at their training complex for players and staff to take a siesta

A sports scientist for Real Madrid has told the BBC how Gareth Bale and co snooze their way through life at the training centre, as the importance of proper sleep hits home with elite athletes.

Apparently Roger Federer banks 10 hours a night - and he's got two sets of twins! He must live in his own flat. Living the dream.

  86. The 'Gazza' rule

    Barcelona v PSG (19:45 BST) (Agg: 3-1)

    Paul Gascoigne

If a player gets a second tournament booking today he'll be banned for the semi-final first leg as usual. But the Champions League has a new rule this season that sees you lose all your yellow cards once you reach the semis.

So nobody will face the Paul Gascoigne/Roy Keane/Michael Ballack scenario of missing the final with a late booking in the semi-final second leg. Unless of course they get booked in both legs.

Progress? Or pandering to the ill-disciplined?

  87. From Fiat to Ferrari

    Barcelona v PSG (19:45 BST) (Agg: 3-1)

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a man who has won titles in the Netherlands, Italy, France and Spain - but his one year at Barcelona was widely considered a flop.

The Swede cost Barca an eye-watering £50m when he joined Barca in 2009, with Samuel Eto'o heading the other way.

    Ferrari
Image caption: 'You bought a Ferrari but drive it like a Fiat' - Zlatan's put down to then Barca coach Pep Guardiola

His record was not so bad - he scored 22 goals in a single season - but the feeling was that he never fitted in and detracted, rather than added to, Barca's style.

He also clashed with then coach Pep Guardiola. Big time. In his book Zlatan revealed an outburst in the dressing room which contains fruity language not suitable for the BBC site.

"I'm not violent, but if I were Guardiola I would have been frightened," he said.

He also offered this gem of advice to Guardiola: "you bought a Ferrari but drive it like a Fiat."

Simon Liddle: Leeds United. The Italian Job. Not the good one, the awful remake.

Simon Hulsman: Groundhog Day - Liverpool

Jamie Mannell: Cowboys and Aliens for Arsenal. Starts a bit rubbish, but then goes BRILLIANT!

    Martin: Newcastle - Titanic

  89. Football League update

It's a big night in the Football League with one match in the Championship, five in League One and one in League Two - with something at stake in almost every fixture.

Millwall, in the Championship relegation zone, visit Blackburn knowing that a victory will take them to within a point of Rotherham, who still face a possible three-point deduction.

Promotion rivals Preston and MK Dons are both in action in League One.Preston, one point ahead of the Buckinghamshire side, travel to Notts County, who are two points adrift of safety, while the free-scoring Dons host mid-table Doncaster. Meanwhile Leyton Orient can climb out of the relegation zone with a win at Rochdale - a result which would end the hosts' slim play-off hopes.

It's free entry for the only game of the night in League Two - and the fans are in for a thriller as fourth-placed Bury entertain fifth-placed Southend. A win will put automatic promotion into Bury's hands, as they will move a point ahead of Wycombe in third place with two games remaining.

  91. 'We are not here on a school trip'

    Barcelona v PSG (19:45 BST) (Agg: 3-1)

PSG may start the night as huge underdogs, but boss Laurent Blanc will not settle for a lack of focus.

The French side have to score at least three times in the Nou Camp to go through after shipping three away goals last week.

Blanc said: "We know the task is extremely difficult. Our problem is that we have to score, but I do believe we will have plenty of chances to do so.

    School Bus

"We have nothing to lose and we hope to prove we are better than we were in the first leg.

"The result last week would have been the same with our without our injured players. I would love to have all the players available for the first and second leg, but that can't happen. We can't complain about that because Barcelona dominated the game in Paris.

"PSG are building a great club and Barcelona is already a great club. We know we are not here on a school trip, we also know Barcelona will want to win so we have to be strong and solid."

Shohan Sen, Kent: Barca have failed to score only twice at home in all competitions this season. Barcelona have only conceded three goals in a match twice this season, both scorelines of which will not be enough for PSG to progress. It will have to be third time lucky on both accounts for PSG or I'm afraid it truly is Mission:Impossible!

  93. Big night for FC United?

BBC Sport's Simon Stone: "It could be a significant evening for FC United of Manchester.

"Ten years after the club was formed by fans disillusioned after the Glazer family's takeover of Manchester United, FC United only need to beat Stourbridge in their Evo-Stik Premier League game to confirm promotion to Conference North, tier six of the football pyramid.

"It would be the fourth promotion in the club's history in a game that will be their last 'on the road'.

"Since their formation, FC United have played at a variety of grounds but the supporter-owned club are due to open their purpose-built stadium, which fans have raised a significant proportion of the £6.5m for, at Broadhurst Park next month when they will play Benfica in a friendly."

  94. Comeback Kings?

    All is not lost PSG!

    INter
Image caption: Holders Inter shook off a 1-0 defeat in Milan to beat Bayern 3-2 in Munich and go through.

Teams have overturned a first-leg deficit to go through on 33 occasions in the Champions League. However, only twice - Ajax's win against Panathinaikos in the 1995-96 semi-finals and Inter's victory against Bayern in the 2010-11 round of 16 - has a side progressed after a home first-leg loss.

    So you're saying there's a chance...

Last week, Spanish newspaper AS superbly based their match report of Barcelona's win in Paris on the film 'An American Werewolf in Paris.'

We enjoyed it no end, particularly this line:

"Barcelona showed PSG where the boundary of Europe's aristocracy lies. That is: 'You're very rich, fine, but that only goes so far. Now out of my way while I destroy you'. Oui Monsieur."

But what we want to know is which film title best describe's your team's season so far - and why?

    Barcelona v PSG (19:45 BST) (Agg: 3-1)

Barcelona make one change from the first leg as right-back Dani Alves returns from suspension.

PSG have Zlatan back up front and Marco Verratti returns in midfield. David Luiz - who will be hopefully keeping his legs shut - replaces the injured Thiago Silva.

Barca XI: Ter Stegen, Alves, Pique, Mascherano, Alba, Busquets, Rakitic, Iniesta, Suárez, Messi, Neymar

PSG XI: Sirigu; Van der Wiel, Marquihos, David Luiz, Maxwell; Verratti, Cabaye, Matuidi; Pastore; Ibrahimovic, Cavani

  98. Post update

    Barcelona v PSG (19:45 BST) (Agg: 3-1)

Barcelona are bang in form - they've won 32 of their last 36 games in all competitions - and were in fine touch in Paris last week.

    Neymar

Neymar put them ahead from a Lionel Messi pass before Luis Suarez's delightful second-half brace, nutmegging David Luiz on both occasions.

However, a late, late Jeremy Mathieu own goal has given PSG a sliver of a chance. The tiniest, barely perceptible chance.

    But a chance nonetheless...

  99. Zlat's back

    Barcelona v PSG (19:45 BST) (Agg: 3-1)

Where there's Zlatan, there may well be hope for PSG tonight.

    Zlatan

The mercurial Swedish striker has often been a divisive character, particularly among an English audience, but anyone who saw Edinson Cavani's efforts at leading the line last week will concede that the French club need him firing on all cylinders.

And he has been. Ibrahimovic has scored 13 goals in his last seven outings for club and country, including hat-tricks against Lorient and Saint-Etienne, and he has scored 104 goals for PSG in all competitions - just five behind Pauleta's club record.

    A formidable record.

  100. All the best PSG...

    Barcelona v PSG (19:45 BST) (Agg: 3-1)

Good evening Laurent. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to infiltrate the Nou Camp this evening.

You must score three away goals without conceding.

    Luis Suarez

You must shut out Lionel Messi. Neymar. And Luis Suarez.

You must give the ball to Zlatan Ibrahimovic and hope for the best.

Can PSG pull off an almighty upset this evening? Or is it truly Mission:Impossible?
