Oh dear. That sums up the afternoon Hearts are having as Jamie Walker completely duffs a corner straight behind.
Ten-man Rangers are sitting deep and Hearts have no answer. Is James Keatings the man to make a difference in the final 15 minutes? The striker is on now in place of left-back Kevin McHattie.
Kenny Miller has run his race for Rangers and Robbie Crawford takes over to offer a younger set of legs.
Rangers keeper Cammy Bell is cautioned for a spot of time-wasting after leaving his goal to usher the ball out for a throw-in.
Hearts striker Osman Sow manages to steer a shot on target with a swivel on the edge of the penalty box but it's comfortably gathered by keeper Cammy Bell.
Rangers goalscorer Kenny Miller is booked for having a nibble at the heels of Osman Sow near the halfway line.
Rangers win a corner and the ball bounces to Kenny Miller, who fires in a volley from an awkward height, and Neil Alexander moves smartly to push it wide.
The ball falls to an unattended Alim Ozturk at the back post area from a corner but Hearts' Turkish defender lacks composure and hammers a shot high over the crossbar from 10 yards or so.
Rangers are starting to drop deeper now as legs tire but Hearts are yet to get a good look at home goalkeeper Cammy Bell in the second half.
Hearts introduce forward Billy King as central midfielder Morgaro Gomis skips off.
Nicky Law breaks down the right flank and sweeps the ball into a central area, where Nicky Clark is waiting in acres of space. Perhaps unaware of the time he has, the Rangers striker goes for a first-time effort and it goes straight to goalkeeper Neil Alexander.
We're ten minutes into the second half and there is no sign of Hearts gaining any momentum from their advantage in personnel. Head coach Robbie Neilson must be considering a change or two.
The visitors get men forward in a promising situation but the move breaks down as Genero Zeefuik is tackled near the edge of the penalty area by Bilel Mohsni. The Hearts striker has been well off the pace today.
BBC Scotland's Richard Wilson at Ibrox
"Having established a two-goal lead through a disciplined and industrious performance, a moment of reckless aggression by Lee McCulloch has Rangers with problems to solve. Hearts, having seen how uncertain the home defence can be, will believe they can rescue this game. Does McCall send his side out to defend their lead? That would invite more pressure from Hearts. Even at 2-0, this game is still in the balance."
It looks like a tactical reshuffle for the depleted hosts, with Darren McGregor joining Bilel Mohsni and Marius Zaliukas in a three-man central defensive partnership.
Hearts get the game restarted after a long wait for the home side to reappear...
Rangers bring on centre-back Bilel Mohsni to fill the gap left by Lee McCulloch's dismissal. Goalscorer Haris Vuckic is the man sacrificed by manager Stuart McCall.
Aaron Wood: #BBCScotFootball The round of applause was for a young guy who supported Hearts called Shaun Cole, who had a relative at Rangers, who died."
bringthemonjpn: "#bbcscotfootball The red card wasn't in the script. McCall has no option givien the time remaining but to close everything down. Tight."
And just what has happened at Hibs? Alan Stubbs' men were ticking along very nicely with seven wins in a row before meekly capitulating at home to a fired-up Rangers. That was followed by defeat at Raith Rovers, when they squandered a hatful of chances, and they were a distant second best against Queens, only spurred into life after falling behind but coming up short again.
Will Hibs fans be hoping for a Hearts revival today? I guess so. And a record of just one win from a combined seven encounters with Falkirk and Queens must make for queasy reading ahead of any potential play-off.
