This is far from over. Chelsea look in control but, while there is only goal between them, Stoke will still fancy it. Just give the ball to Charlie Adam...
This match has gone a little dead. Stoke look flat, Chelsea look in second gear and all the fans probably want to get home for the final of the Voice. Still 16 minutes to go for a bit more drama though.
Charlie Adam scored for Stoke from about 65 yards out (see 44 mins). Well inside his own half. What are your favourite goals from distance?
Michael, Ex-Bishops School captain, Newquay: In our epic Miller Shield cup run (1992), I signed off year six in style with a first-time volley from inside our own half to kick-start our victorious campaign. That proved to be the pinnacle of my football career. Take note, Mr. Adam!

Eden Hazard continues to float effortlessly around Stoke's defence. His poise, his passing, his vision, he really is a class act.
Chelsea now look happy with what they have got as they knock the ball around. Seven points clear at the top of the Premier League would certainly do them.
Ahmed: Last week McGregor, this week Asmir Begovic. Keepers giving Chelsea goals on a plate.
Chris Wright: Loic Remy is suddenly coming up with some very important goals. I bet Brendan Rodgers regrets not signing him back in the summer.

Charlie Adam is booked for launching a verbal volley of abuse towards the referee's assistant. He thinks he should be given the throw. He doesn't get it.
Mark Hughes is off the bench with his head in his hands as Stoke come within a whisker of another equaliser. Steven Nzonzi advances on goal before sweeping a shot against the outside off the post from the long side of 20 yards.
Loic Remy looked as though he was being hooked for Didier Drogba before Diego Costa's injury. He stayed on in time to grab the lead for the Blues but has now been replaced by Juan Cuadrado.

"That's a really bad goal to concede. Stoke had been threatening in this game and looked like they might even go on and get a second goal, but they're their own worst enemies there, and Mark Hughes will not be happy. Eden Hazard just rolled it across to Loic Remy for the easiest of finishes."
Asmir Begovic has had a mare. The Stoke goalkeeper rolls the ball into the path of Eden Hazard, who strolls towards goal, before squaring for Loic Remy to slot into the empty net. Horrible defending by Begovic.
Charlie Adam scored for Stoke from about 65 yards out (see 44 mins). Well inside his own half. What are your favourite goals from distance?
Mark, Oxford: Saw Peter Leven score a 50-yarder for Oxford at the Kassam. As he hit it I thought 'what the hell are you doing shooting from there!?'
Russel, Torquay: My favourite long-range goal has to be Dean Saunders for Villa against Ipswich. The ball dropped over his shoulder and he launched a 45-yard half-volley that looped into the net. Came down with snow on it!
Ewan Davies, Andover: Has to be Matty Taylor for Pompey against Everton. He then did again against Sunderland.

Stoke are growing in confidence. They are having more of the ball and looking a threat - now and again - on the break.

"I think Chelsea will beat Liverpool and Mourinho has never lost against Wenger [the Blues play both Liverpool and Arsenal in their un-in]. Chelsea have a five-point lead with a game in hand. I think it is a near unassailable lead."
Charlie Adam scored for Stoke from about 65 yards out (see 44 mins).
Chris, Belfast: If Stoke City had a Mortal Kombat, external fatality finishing move, it would look like that. Ultimate long-ball terror.

Don't think Charlie Adam's Stoke team-mate Peter Odemwingie is the only one impressed by the Scot's wonder-strike (see 44 mins).

"Diego Costa must be carrying an injury and has tried it out, but it's made it worse by the look of it. He can hardly walk."
Didier Drogba comes on to replace Diego Costa in attack. Did Chelsea take a gamble by throwing Costa on at half time?
The striker has been suffering from a hamstring injury and it strikes again. That could be a massive moment in the title race. Sad scenes for Chelsea fans as Costa is helped away. He doesn't look good at all.
Bad news Chelsea. Diego Costa waves to the bench, holds his hamstring and lies down on the turf. Game over for Diego - having only come on at half time.
Another solid save from Asmir Begovic as he sprawls to his left to touch Willian's free-kick wide.
