  2. PSG WIN FRENCH LEAGUE CUPpublished at 21:56 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

One down, three to go? PSG's pursuit of a domestic and European quadruple is very much alive. Barcelona are in town in the Champions League in midweek while Laurent Blanc's side are looking to wrap up the Ligue 1 title and French Cup.

Delicious finish as Zlatan Ibrahimovic threads a pass that sends Edinson Cavani clean through. The Uruguay forward does not even have to glance up as he fires low into the corner to complete an emphatic PSG win. Quite an impact by the substitute.

No, no, no. Ibrahimovic's effort cannons off Bastia's wall. The free-kick was awarded after the big striker was victim of a cynical challenge by Mathieu Peybernes.

PSG have a free-kick on edge of the area in Zlatan territory. The Swede to complete another treble here?

  7. FIVE MINUTES REMAININGpublished at 21:47 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

This might be over as a contest but will Zlatan Ibrahimovic get one more chance to complete his hat-trick?

Edinson Cavani's goal came moments after Bastia's Mathieu Peybernes had an effort cleared off the line by Thiago Silva.

Let the celebrations begin! Substitute Edinson Cavani shows his class with a lovely flicked header from Serge Aurier's cross. Nothing Alphonse Areola could do about that one. PSG have their first silverware of the season. Laurent Blanc will be hoping it is not their last.

  10. 15 MINUTES REMAININGpublished at 21:38 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Another glorious save by Alphonse Areola as Brazilian defender Marquinhos attempts a spectacular lob. PSG are a quarter of an hour away from defending their League Cup title.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:35 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Alphonse Areola, who is on loan from PSG, saves brilliantly from Italian midfielder Marco Verratti after Bastia's defence crumbles.

It's all a little bit tame. Bastia are playing for pride while PSG are happy to run down the clock. Even Zlatan Ibrahimovic, one goal short of a cup final hat-trick, is playing as though his work for the night is done.

If only Roger Milla was still playing for Bastia...the team from Corsica are enjoying their best spell of the game but they cannot find a way through the Parisiens defence. Forward Edinson Cavani is on for the final half an hour, Ezequiel Lavezzi making way.

A big few days coming up for PSG. They face Barcelona in the Champions League in midweek but no sign yet of any changes from Laurent Blanc.

  15. CLOSE!published at 21:19 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Huge chance for Bastia. Florian Marange is totally unmarked as he ghosts in at the far post and heads Ryad Boudebouz's lofted free kick narrowly wide. Big let off for PSG.

Credit to the travelling fans of Bastia. Several thousand have made the journey from Corsica to the French capital yet they are still in fine voice despite what appears a hopeless cause. There's around 79,000 in the Stade de France mostly made up of PSG fans. They have started the party early.

Little sign of Bastia getting back into this. If anything PSG look like increasing their advantage. Argentine duo Javier Pastore and Ezequiel Lavezzi have both gone close since the re-start .

There's a Europa League place up for grabs at the Stade de France. Can the 10 men of Bastia mount the comebacks of all comebacks? We're back under way.

  19. French League Cup Fnalpublished at 21:04 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

It has been 20 years since Bastia last had an opportunity to win the Coupe de la Ligue. PSG won the cup 2-0 in the Parc des Princes back in 1995 through goals from Alain Roche and the Brazilian Rai, but so much has changed within both teams in the years that have passed.

Although the team from Corsica won the last league match between the two teams 4-2 at the Stade Armand Cesari, PSG are heavy favourites despite injuries to Thiago Motta and David Luiz.

Bastia goalkeeper Areola's camouflage shirt failed to put off Ibrahimovic's as the Swede dispatched his penalty confidently after Squillaci saw red for a foul on Lavezzi.
