How is Mauricio Pochettino feeling so far? He was interviewed just after he walked into the ground and maybe those hugs and handshakes he received from the Saints staff have struck a chord.

"I still love Southampton, I will always love Southampton. It is difficult the first time to come back."

BBC Sport's Nabil Hassan at St Mary's: "Southampton make one change with James Ward-Prowse coming in for Dusan Tadic in midfield. Defender Toby Alderweireld has passed a fitness test on his shoulder and keeps his place despite being stretchered off last weekend.

"Tottenham make three changes. Keeper Hugo Lloris is passed fit, defender Ben Davies starts in place of Danny Rose while Paulinho's wife is expecting a baby so Ryan Mason plays in midfield."

Southampton XI: Kelvin Davis, Clyne, Fonte, Yoshida, Bertrand, Schneiderlin, Alderweireld, Ward-Prowse, Mane, Steven Davis, Pelle. Subs: Gardos, Long, Tadic, Elia, Gazzaniga, Reed, Targett.

Angry fans are not something Pochettino's successor Ronald Koeman has to worry about today.

Saints supporters are planning to celebrate his successful first season in charge by wearing orange in honour of the former Dutch international. Some fans have even flown in from the Netherlands to pay their tribute.
