Shrewsbury's hopes of being promoted this evening look to have been scuppered, as they are currently 1-0 behind at Bury, while Southend, whom the Shropshire side need not to win, are currently 2-0 up against Newport County.

At the foot of the table, bottom club Cheltenham are back into the lead against Cambridge United thanks to Danny Haynes's goal. It looks like it could be a good night for the Robins, as the two teams above them, Tranmere and Hartlepool, are both losing.

Brentford are losing ground in the Championship table as it stands - despite a battling performance at Hillsborough. They started the day level on points with sixth-placed Ipswich but are currently two points outside the play-off places.
