So, after a tense first leg, there's nothing separating Ipswich and Norwich, with Paul Anderson's equaliser at the end of the first half cancelling out Jonny Howson's opener.

Although it was slightly lacking in high-quality moments, it was an intense derby game that leaves things nicely in the balance ahead of the second leg next Saturday.

We'll see you here again, same time next week.

Norwich City boss Alex Neil tells Sky Sports:

"It's level-pegging. Obviously we'll be at home in the second leg and we'll want try to take advantage of that.

"It was quite a strange game because I felt, in the first half there wasn't much in it, but we had some of the better chances.

"Then I felt the longer the game went on, the more of the ball we had, but we had less chances.

"I think both terms go in level-pegging so I'm expecting a similar encounter at our place."

Max Baggins-Craig:, external Great game, I was promised more goals though. Both clubs deserve promotion, but Norwich have put more into their season.

Hugh Smith:, external That Redmond looks quite a player. bet he'll be in the Prem next season whatever happens to Norwich in the playoffs.

Norwich City goalscorer Jonny Howson tells Sky Sports:

"Obviously a bit disappointed to concede just before half time.

"It's set up nicely now. We look forward to next Saturday.

"I don't think we're favourties next week. When you've got teams going for it so much, there are no easy games. It's all on one game now."

"Ipswich played with tremendous fire in the second half but the match was short of quality. Both goalkeepers were under-utilised and I'm sure they work harder in the warm-ups then they had to do in this game.

"It was a tense game, a close competitive game but we never expected a classic. The excitement is there, the game is poised for the second leg and there is everything to play for."

A nervy finish for Ipswich in the end, but they avoided conceding late on, as Brentford did last night.

That's only the seventh draw between these two teams at Portman Road, in 49 meetings.

We've had commitment, strength, desire and some fine defending, but as yet, no moments of real quality. One bit of brilliance could be the difference.

"Most of the plaudits will come for the Ipswich defence at the moment who are playing very well and protecting Bialkowski.

"For all of the play today the only downside, not enough shots at goal."

"It's time to bring out a footballing cliche - knifedge. This game is on one.

"It would take a brave soul to predict which way this will go, and nerves are certainly palpable in Portman Road.

"Every Norwich mistake and Ipswich chance is greeted with an almighty cheer. Someone could make themselves a hero today - that may be the talismanic the David McGoldrick, back on the hosts' bench after injury."
