Rich: Thought Sergio Aguero looked back to his best at Spurs last week and today's goal proves it. Sloppy defending, but world class finish.

Cliff B: How long before Harry Redknapp comes out and says QPR's eventual relegation was nothing to do with him?

Terrible defending by Richard Dunne, who looks in a trance as Sergio Aguero races past him. Fortunately Robert Green is off his line to save the day. Poor from the former Manchester City man.

Who said Manchester City have won nothing? Twenty three Premier League goals for Sergio Aguero now - three ahead of nearest rival Harry Kane. It might have been a poor season for City but Aguero is heading for the Golden Boot. The Argentine has not scored this number of goals in a single Premier League season before.

Matt Harding: I'm right in saying Sergio Aguero wasn't in the PFA Team of the Year, aren't I? Hmmmmm........

Demola Oke: QPR seem in the mood today... to get relegated.

Worst possible start by QPR. No excuse for that kind of defending at this level. They do realise they have to win this game, right?

That could well be the tickets to Wembley booked! Joe Garner smashes a penalty down the middle to put Preston 3-0 up on aggregate with half an hour to go.

Shocking defending by QPR as Sergio Aguero dances past Clint Hill and Steven Caulker before coolly slotting past Roberto Green. Not as dramatic as either of his two goals in the corresponding fixture three years ago but City will take it. QPR with a mountain to climb.

"What's he on - £14.8m a year? It's going to take a hell of a lot of money. Manchester City are the only club probably capable of paying that kind of money. My personal view is he won't leave until he wins the Champions League. If he doesn't he will see that as failure and he doesn't like to fail."

Here come the players. Hardly surprising that there are plenty of empty seats dotted around the Etihad. It's win or bust for QPR but Man City's season ended weeks ago.

  13. Manager viewpublished at 13:25 British Summer Time 10 May 2015

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini, speaking to Sky Sports: "When you cannot win the league it's important to finish as high as you can. It's important to finish the season winning, and to qualify for the Champions League.

"It's not the moment to analyse things, we did things badly when we lost five away games in a row and dropped points at home. We need a lot of time to analyse that.

"QPR will be a difficult team. They are trying to keep their team in the Premier League and I'm sure they will fight for each ball."

An empty bottle of champagne carrying the words 'We're Going Up!' was left on the pitch after QPR won the Championship play-off final against Derby at Wembley last May.

All the travelling Hoops fans want to see left on the pitch at the Etihad is blood, sweat...and no tears.

    Kick-off if fast approaching.

  15. Bruce with plenty to offerpublished at 13:21 British Summer Time 10 May 2015

    John Murray
BBC commentator on Match of the Day 2 Extra

"If Hull City Steve Bruce was managing a more high profile club it may well be nationally he would get more criticism than he does. If you look at his body of work as a manager there have been many more good times than bad times."

  17. 'Incredible achievement by Burnley'published at 13:13 British Summer Time 10 May 2015

    Neil Lennon
Former Celtic manager on Match of the Day 2 Extra

"You have to look at where they were. It was an incredible achievement last season and it was always going to be difficult.

"Some will say they should have spent more money. We don't know the ins and outs of the money. It is difficult to be positive every single week but I think Sean Dyche believes in and is proud of his players.

"Sean was rigid with a 4-4-2. He had good players in Danny Ings and Sam Vokes getting goals but they dried up a bit this season."

  18. Zamora hopes City are on the beachpublished at 13:11 British Summer Time 10 May 2015

Bobby Zamora says QPR are going down "all guns blazing" but hopes his side can still produce a miracle - especially if Manchester City's players are on the beach.

"If we are going to go down we want to do so with our heads held high," adds the Hoops striker, who starts at Etihad Stadium.

"You would like to think they would have their flip-flops on and be on the beach and not want to get injured. That's what we are hoping. We are going to go all guns blazing and hopefully they have a relaxed day and we can get something."

  19. GET INVOLVEDpublished at 13:09 British Summer Time 10 May 2015

What is the greatest escape from relegation of all time?

Nathan: Sunderland last season when they beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and drew with City at the Etihad to stay up.

Simon: 2009 - Bournemouth minus 17 points, transfer embargo, Eddie Howe appointed as manager and kept them in the Football League.
