Lee stuck in Birmingham: I've been a Bournemouth fan all my life and remember the dark days of the club raising money on a stage in the town to stay in business. Credit to the club and Eddie Howe what a legend and bring on premier league. Oh we do like to live beside the seaside !!!!

    Bournemouth

Bournemouth fans will remember this day for a very long time. Eight years ago, the club looked like they were heading out of the Football League. Now, they look certain to be in the top flight next season.

A win leaves them three points clear in second with a game to go, with a goal difference 18 better than Middlesbrough's.

Will Watson: As a lifelong Bournemouth fan through thick and mostly thin, this is unreal. All hail King Eddie.

Mike W: The two most entertaining teams in the championship are going up, Bournemouth and Watford definitely deserve it.

James Porter: I'm slightly worried Howe might get poached but would that mean dream job for Redknapp? Ugh that could be great.

One note of warning for Bournemouth fans. Apologies for being the party pooper.

The Cherries have lost more points from winning positions than any other side in the Championship this season. Surely that isn't going to happen tonight is it?

John Kiszely: What a goal by Bournemouth. Something else. Eddie Howe is a very talented coach.

Beautiful football and the party has just got bigger.

Callum Wilson gets in down the left, he squares to Yann Kermorgant, whose one touch pass is perfectly into Matt Ritchie's stride. Ritchie makes no mistake with a first-time drive into the bottom corner.

Surely Bournemouth are Premier League bound.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe kept his calm on the sidelines as the ball went into the net but the rest of his bench were not so restrained. Incredible scenes and noise at Bournemouth. The fans are already in party mode.

    The Goldsands erupts.

Matt Ritchie does well down the right and dinks a cross to the far post from the byeline. Marc Pugh calmly collects, beats his marker and drills the ball into the net.

"We are going up" sing Bournemouth fans and they are if this stays the same.

Still Bournemouth come forward. Matt Ritchie has a tame shot blocked but the ball comes back to them. The Cherries are playing some lovely, patient stuff but, so far, have lacked that final touch.

James Marshall on text: Just got the feeling that Bournemouth may not get the win tonight and it will go down to the last day. Great achievement though if Bournemouth do make it to the Premier League.

BBC Sport's Nabil Hassan at the Goldsands: "Understandably nervy here with the experienced players in Bolton's side starting to settle into this game. The sun is setting over the Steve Fletcher Stand as the Cherries continue their search for that vital opener."
