Another Premier League season done, and one to forget for Hull City who are relegated from the Premier League. The top flight returns in August.
Over and out.
Hull captain Michael Dawson: "Relegated from the Premier League, it is hard to take. It was not today that relegated us, we had 38 chances to do it. Newcastle did the job and we didn't, we should not have been where we are.
"When I signed I was not expecting this, it is hard to take. It is going to be a hard summer.
"We huffed and puffed too many times. We drew some games we should have won and lost some we should have got something out of.
"We knew it was 0-0 for Newcastle at half time, and towards the end you get the feeling of the fans from their quietness."
Interesting from Hull captain Michael Dawson, who says "when I signed I was not expecting this." Is he having a pop at the club, at his fellow players?
Waking up on Monday morning, realising you are no longer in the Premier league. A sobering though for the Hull City players and fans.
Hull manager Steve Bruce: "In football, there are times like you feel like today. Relegation from the Premier League. You are desperately disappointed with what has happened. It is an awful experience, and it will dawn on the players we are not in the Premier League anymore.
"Too many times I have come out and said we haven't done badly and not scored. The team in general have to create and score goals. We have had umpteen chances and not been able to take them. That is 17 or 18 times we have not been able to score.
"We all have to take the brunt of it, we have not been good enough. I thought at the start of the season we would have enough to stay in the Premier League but we have not done enough.
"You have to come back as strong as possible. There is talking and soul searching to be done. It is bitter and sad at the moment."
Hull manager Steve Bruce is understandably gutted after his side's relegation from the Premier League and says "it is bitter and sad at the moment." Full quotes to come.
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal: "There was a special atmosphere, it is not easy to play a game like this. Our team was less aggressive and then you know what is coming. They played the long balls and crosses and they fought. The grass was a little bit dry so it was not easy to play football.
"I have to credit Hull City because they created a lot of possibilities and they were unlucky. It is always difficult to wait for the last match, the fans of Hull City were fantastic. I have not seen anything like this in other countries.
On Marouane Fellaini: "It is very stupid. I have said to him. He will start next season in the tribune. It is not good.
On Victor Valdes: "In stopping the balls, he had a very good game. He also let go of the ball and we got lucky.
On David De Gea: "I cannot say when it will be resolved. He has to say something."
Louis van Gaal has spoken and paid tribute to Hull City and their fans. Full quotes to come.
Manchester United defender Phil Jones: "It is nice to keep a clean sheet. They made it hard for us and it was scrappy at times. We are disappointed with the way we have played today.
"You have to enjoy playing in the Premier League, that is the motivation in itself.
"It is exciting times to be at United, we know it will be a difficult tie in the Champions League."
JY: Hull have been relegated but they'll be back within the next few years. The fans have shown their quality today.

Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney: We wanted to win the game, we wanted to end the season with three points. We didn't perform well. We didn't want people to look at us as if we didn't try It was a big day for Hull and Newcastle.
"I am now sure why we were not at our best and it is disappointing for us.
"Victor Valdes was excellent, he made some great saves and kept us in the game. He hasn't won the medals and trophies he has because he is not a top class goalkeeper.
"We knew if we made the Champions League this season, we can push on. A few new signings and we can challenge for silverware."
Here is how it looked at the end of the match..
Hull had 16 shots today, six on target, so had their share of chances. Victor Valdes, although he struggled with the high balls, made two stunning saves to keep the home side out.

"I do feel desperately sorry for Steve Bruce because he's had a lot of bad luck. Injuries, the situation with Jake Livermore, and even though the investment has been there it's been difficult because this year has just not gone for them.
"West Ham gave a really good account of themselves today and made Newcastle work for it. Credit to John Carver - the home side have got over the line."
Steve Bruce comes on to the pitch and shakes hands with all the United players, before applauding the fans and giving a wave to them. The Hull players are still on KC Stadium turf. Left-back Andrew Robertson in tears.

"It's been a good spirited performance from Hull and it's good to see the fans applauding. Some of the players are on their knees, and I was relegated twice out of the Premier League so I know it does hurt."
Michael Dawson and the Hull players down on their haunches, some covering their faces with the tops, some sat on the grounds. A sorry sight to see. The Hull fans sing, "City til I die" in support of their players.
All over. Hull are down to the Championship after two seasons in the top flight.

"As soon as Newcastle got their second goal it was game over really. The Hull players have just been seeing this out."
